Star Wars the force unleashed used to work. Now it doesn't. What IOS's do I need to install and how would I do so?

Im pretty sure it is an IOS issue, as I made 3 copies of this disc, tried in 3 wii's (friends using wiikey, d2ckey, and wiikey clone). All work. Now they all stopped working, subsequently. I hear IOS 21 is needed to get this game working. Wii is chipped.

If it's stopped working but working before, it's your disc, or the lens. Unless you done something software-ly (You never told us what you did on your Wii) on your Wii, it's either both of that.

I am going to burn a new copy right now and test it out. While testing I will look at the software version and such. I have not done anything to the wii. Just updated I think 3.3 ( where zelda tp hack worked originally) installed homebrew channel and some wads.

Hey guys,

I've got this wii from a friend I know and she wants it soft modded. She's got system software version 3.3E and I was wondering if there's a way to tell if its 3.3v1 or 3.3v2 (so I can install the Softmii package)?

Someone on another forum said I should just downgrade to 3.2. So my other question is whats the difference between Waninkoko's IOS downgrader and his custom IOS downgrader?

The easiest way i can think of is just to install Waninkoko's cIOS36rev7, if that works, you are already able to run backups with Gamma and SoftChip, you know that you are at 3.3v1, and it's needed for downgrade and the softmii installation.

So just to make sure, Waninkoko's cIOS36rev7 wont install if she has 3.3v2 and if it does she must have 3.3v1? And are you saying that cIOS36rev7 is required if I need to downgrade? Also if I go ahead and successfully install cIOS36rev7 then can I go on with the Softmii installation straight after that.

If you updated then that is most likely your problem.

I just got my system updated from being out of the box. It went to 3.4E.
I got Twilight all set up and started it through Zelda. At one of the confirmation points it says I am running on OFW 386 v24 TWH has been tested on 354 v 22 and below - continue?
I quit not wanting to brick my system. Can I do it or wait for TWH to go to the next level??

I downloaded softmii yesterday and installed everything up to the softmii tweak thing. I go onto it and it just gives me an error like this:

Exception (ISI) Occured

and underneath that a bunch of letters and numbers.

I have relooked through the steps to see if ive missed anything and i havent.
Any help?

im creating a animated channel.
im using the 00000.app from wiiware, but cant seem to get my pictures to show up
i have changed the .tpl files in banner.bin and repacked to the bin file than repacked the banner,icon,sound to oooooo.app than copied to my extracted wad. When installed the wiiware banner/pictures show up but when it starts it loads my dol. so its just the banner i cant get right.
ps what and how do i edit the brlyt file in the banner

this is probably the noobiest Q yet.

i have wiigator and gammaloader both installed for playing backups.

i am trying to play house of the dead 2/3 return.

hod3 plays perfect, hod2 goes to a black screen and freezes the wii.

i have seen people mentioning patching games with a certain ios to get them to run.

i have installed all the following wads:

cios37 rev3
ios37-64v2070
ios36-64v1042
IOS16-64-v257
cIOS249-IOS36-rev07

am i supposed to run a program to add these to the .ISO image, or does having these installed via custom wad manager do the trick?

i have tried reading this stuff and my head is starting to spin with all of the info that is present on this site.

create a iso of the game
use ios patcher and enter 249
re-burn
worked perfect for me

There's a Gamma/Softchip compatibility list. Check that

Can someone please answer this :

I have a friends Wii and I want to downgrade it from 3.3 -> 3.2 but I'm not sure if they have the October 23rd update installed. Is the downgrade method the same for 3.3v1 and 3.3v2 or is there extra steps to take with 3.3v2?

I've read that wads won't install if the Oct 23rd update has been installed, so could I find out by trying to install a wad or can it possibly brick the Wii?
