dude i do have hbc but wad manager needs the wii mote my wii mote turns the system on but then flashes

I'm not sure but I think Wad Manager also can function with the GC controller, but first please install preloader v0.27, first turn ON your Wii without anything plugged (GC memory cards, GC controller) then if you Wiimote hasn't been sync'd then plug the GC controller and go to HBC, then run and install preloader v0.27, or better yet install with wad manager the new sysmenu.wad if the wiimote is not supported by Wad Manager, then install first preloader

This is an odd issue all together. He says the wiimote can turn the system on, but isn't syncing...

Is this normal behavior? Can any random wiimote turn on/off any random system?

menage... After you've turned the wii on with wiimote. have you tried pressing anything on the wii mote after preloader or HBC is started?

1) The 26 being 25 thing is the softmii packages fault. It was pre25, just labeled as 26. But the issue you are having with 27 makes no sense. How are you installing it? Download the Pre27, rename the file boot.dol and stick it in apps/pre27 on your SD. Run the hack remover, then run pre27, I can't imagine it comes up as 25 after that.

Where does it "come up" as 2.5? When you boot to preloader?

2) just run the softmii tweaks and point it at file 00000000042.app (or 45 for pal) If you don't have that file anymore, google it. (but not mine, I made up the number of 0's)

preloader .27 i try using this code and nothing happens i did everything you said before i put this version of preloader in my sd.

code (minus A Right 1 Up B Right Up 2 2 A) i thought it was the same code as .26 i will try the code one more time.

i understand no one is allow to give links to a site but i posted earlier looking to find a way to get back my nintendo wii health screen before i used softmii tweaks.i first came across this file wadpatch-v1.tar but i knew that couldn't be it. so searching gbatemp i think i found what i was looking for SystemMenu-v290.wad but i also seen SystemMenu-v289.wad.which one is for wii v3.2u.i am already starting to look again for a download but i want to know which i should be looking for.wil the download tell me when i'm done downloading.

i finished the download but it ended up as an iso file.

if i use this will what will really happen to my wii.i have starfall and softmii installed.i don't want to really waste a dvd on this but will i get to choose what gets installed from this.
the site i got it from says its the newest version of ntsc wii menu.at least at that time. it was posted on May 17th, 2008.

I installed Softmii Tweaks but I was not expecting the complete System Menu theme overhaul. What is the best way to go back to the original system menu without losing preloader, etc? Thanks!

Edit: NM, not that tough if you have a custom health screen wad - which thankfully replaces not just the health screen but the whole system menu theme as well (back to the original). Maybe this post helped someone else who, like me, was curious to see what Softmii Tweaks did, but did not like the end result.

following the tutorial given in the softmii package i have gotten to step 29 and when i run the SoftMii Tweaks app it messes up and goes to a screen that says

exception (isi) occurred.


anyway to get it to work?

edit: tried using it for about the 5th time and it worked this time.

Someone on another forum said I should just downgrade to 3.2. So my other question is whats the difference between Waninkoko's IOS downgrader and his custom IOS downgrader?

The easiest way i can think of is just to install Waninkoko's cIOS36rev7, if that works, you are already able to run backups with Gamma and SoftChip, you know that you are at 3.3v1, and it's needed for downgrade and the softmii installation.

Use Trucha Signer or Wii Scrubber. Extract the Sysmenu WAD.

IOS Downgrader will downgrade your IOSes (except your sys menu's IOS) to those that contain the trucha bug.

Custom IOS Downgrader will downgrade your system menu, to any version you like on Nin's servers. And I think you can change your console/shop region as well.

It is not a game for your region, try using frethewads.exe for make it region free, still some of them can be region free'd..!!!

cIOS37_r3 is an old version, the latest is cIOS36_r7 use that one and delete r3 from your SD it is not usable anymore...!!

So you can enter to preloader installer but still your Wiimote doesn't sync, not even in HBC, then you must have an issue wih your bluetooth comunication, I don't think that is a software repareble issue, why does this happend..?? what did you do before this happened..??

Are you sure it changed the entire theme..?? SoftMii_095..?? mine just changed the health screen...!!

I have a problem, i can´t burn wii images on a DVD in my computer, and i wanted to know if im doing it right:
I use clone DVD, i have 0.3 gamma wii gator and some games that a friend burn for me run good in my wii, but the fact is that i can´t do it on my computer, when i launch the game, instead of appering the green-yellow screen, in my t.v it appears some black and white stuff moving very fast and my wii stops and i have to restart it, this game is Sonic Unleashed. I have tried several times with no result. Can someone say me what do i have to do to burn DVDs that can run in Wii?

I use Verbatim -R at x1 speed.

If you don´t understand my noob english (i´m not english) you can ask me again what do i want to say.
