A quote from Wiibrew.org:
QUOTE said:
8 September 10: Nintendo has released another IOS and Shop Channel update. This adds the so-called "Korean IOSes" to all regions as well as a new Shop Channel which requires an updated IOS56. No homebrew is affected by this update.

Hey hey, guess what, Gecko OS is weird again.
Basically, I updated it on Monday so I could legitimately get Sonic 4.
Now Gecko OS 1.9.3.1 should still show

Launch Game

But now it's only showing me this:

(Also, I don't remember if I've tried any backup loaders since Monday, I THINK they still work.
If they don't I'll edit this post to let you guys know.)
EDIT: Backup loaders still work.
I still can't figure out what's wrong with Gecko though.

I've gone through all the necessary steps in the softmod guide,
(I usually do after every update, or if something like this happens, I'll go through it to make sure I'm up to date)

So what else am I missing?
The update's obviously done SOMETHING to my homebrew...

just because the latest update didn't affect homebrew doesn't mean the previous didn't.

When you update online everything is being updated!

Nothing would have been affected if you had all updates from before that update.

Anyways, depending on which Gecko OS version you use, it's IOS249 or IOS36 that was overwritten. And Gecko OS requires some patches to the IOS it uses, or else it hides the options that won't work.

I'm pretty sure everything was up to date just before September 8th...

What should I use to get IOS249 back to how it was then?

(Or possibly 63?)
