No audio on SNES9X

Does someone know why I have no audio on SNES9x? I tried all emulators (blargSNES, retroarch pocket, retroarch CATSFC, the twilight menu emulator) and snes9x is the only one where I don't have audio (I'm on an old 3DS)

That's strange, considering the devs behind the 3DS port of SNES9X said that new 3DS users won't get any audio while old 3DS users will.

Well, that's the first time I'm hearing this at least, don't know if that explain anything though

Is that including the stand alone one? cause i use that on 2 N3dsxls and get proper audio without any problems

That's what I remember, but it was quite some time ago. They might have updated it without me realizing it first.
