that is old as hell lol update to 4815.457
nintendont uses GX processor wich can only output 480p same as all wii games, wiiu gx2 cpu is widely diferent so you would need to emulate all graphics isntead of redirecting calls like nintendont does, what you ask is a gc emulator wich nintendont isnt, since we dont emulate cpu or gpu.Would it be possible to force the internal resolution of games to 720p or even 1080p using the Wii U's power? Would this be made any more possible if Nintendont were to be properly ported to the Wii U?
Is there a way to load Nintendont from a Wii U menu Channel/Forwarder that does NOT use the gamepad but does run games from USB?
If so, does any one have a link for such channel? They are hard to find. Thanks.
to use usb you need to load the game from vwii mode or with a custom forward on wiiu mode that would start a nintendont fowarder on vwii menu basicaly a custom hlb2hbc, but remenber you couldnt use your wiiu hdd, you would need a fat32 hdd.Is there a way to load Nintendont from a Wii U menu Channel/Forwarder that does NOT use the gamepad but does run games from USB?

you cant use fat32 usb on wiivc injection so yeah no fat32 usb and gamepad side by side. Thanks @pedro702 and @september796.
Here’s a pickle. It seems I’ll have to use a Wiimote every time to press the A button to access Nintendont with the gamepad channel. Also for some weird reason, when booted through that channel it wont recognize my FAT32 hdd which has always worked fine with vwii Nintendont.
Where can I find a custom forwarder for Nintendont with the hlb2hbc method?
tell all your settings of nintendont. you might have toogled an imcompatible setting.Baten Kaitos Origins (undub) hangs up completely 10-15 seconds into the battle. It was working just fine several years ago, when I played it for about two hours and put away - now I continued playing under 5.480 and it seems like Nintendont became broke since then And I can`t remember, what version I was using 2-3 years ago, when everything was working perfectly... Is there any way to fix current release of Nintendont and return its compatibility with this game?
Everything is set by default - no speed up for loading data, no force progressive scan (game turns it on anyway). Everything is off, but memcard emulation is on.tell all your settings of nintendont. you might have toogled an imcompatible setting.
telll your settings anyway, i cant count enough people that said they had default when they didnt have it. take a picture if you can.Everything is set by default - no speed up for loading data, no force progressive scan (game turns it on anyway). Everything is off, but memcard emulation is on.
I started a new game, and there was no problems in first fight at all, I tried it to be as long as possible. After that, I loaded my save 2 hours in the game (from sewers to imperial city) and it still hangs up in the fight with soldiers. I noticed that music is different. So, I came to conclusion, that maybe nobody played this game with nintendont long enough, to witness the moment of crash. Maybe it was never fully compatible with nintendont...
I`m using the undubbed version with japanese voices - I hope that person, who did all the hacking, inserting and rebuilding disc image, was using the good dump as a source...Did you verify the MD5 hash of the disc image to make sure it's a good dump?
well probably its just the usa version then with diferent voice clips still take a picture with your nintendont settings, upload your save file and with instructions to get to the said crash, remenber we never played that game so threat us like noobs with step by step instructions.I`m using the undubbed version with japanese voices - I hope that person, who did all the hacking, inserting and rebuilding disc image, was using the good dump as a source...
Here is a screenshot of options and save file for Baten Kaitos Origins CD1 (undub). After loading the save, go down to square cover on the floor, press A to open it and go down into sewers (press A for every action indicated with "!" sign, and mash it to speed up dialogues). In the sewers, go right all the time, there will be one dialogue, then go up the ladder by pressing A in front of it. There will be dialogue again, dont agree to go again into the severs if you accidentally pressed A too many times, go right (to the crowd) and up the street, there will be another dialogue with your companion. You cannot return to save the game (main hero refuses), and there is no save point nearby. Go up-right or up-left to meet one of the enemy soldiers (there will be "!" sign when you close enough for them to attack you) - and battle begins. You may select any card randomly or do nothing, the game hangs up with loud noise before you can win or die, in 15-20 seconds. And you have to repeat all again to get to this point...take a picture with your nintendont settings, upload your save file and with instructions to get to the said crash

Thanks a lot, its working! I played a lot of undubs on PS2 and just wasn`t expecting any troubles. But now I recall, that some fan-translated games have problems on real hardware (some 16-bit ones and Phantasy Star Generations 2 on PS2 first came to mind), while working perfectly on emulators. I really hope, that it will be no problems with first Baten Kaitos game, which was undubbed too - but now I know how to cure it Thanks! So the problem is your undub version, im guessing the guy did something or used a bad dump that works on emulators but not on nintendont.
no you cannot exit back to nintendont menu its impossible. Thanks a lot, its working! I played a lot of undubs on PS2 and just wasn`t expecting any troubles. Two more questions: is it possible to remap reset function from SELECT button of my PS3 controller to something else? I afraid to press it accidentally all the time, it happened to me several times already. And is it possible to exit by pressing reset to emulator menu, instead of system menu?
What if your games are located on SD? Lol.And place your controller.ini on the root of your Gaming device.
If your games are located on USB : USB:/controller.ini
