@FIX94 I don't mind that if the images look ugly, in fact playing on PS3 and Wii U with HDMI cables now "I bought the expensive ones btw to get the best quality image possible" I see a lot of ugly texture and such, even so when watching TV, that's expected with better resolution and such.

I just wanna know if by using the AV cables I can get progressive to work or not, I use AV on the TV btw not the component and I tested with Super Mario Sunshine and got the image working in widescreen and progressive enabled but it was in 4:3 still, I tried different settings for the TV and got it stretched or zoomed but never progressive, right now I have it saved to 4:3 by default when using AV2 which I use for Wii, like I said I don't mind having the black bars because I really hate stretched images but I wonder if its possible at all to have progressive to work on a regular Wii using the av cables.

Scoured this guide for the answer to this question... but... maybe someone could help.

So everything works great with Nintendont... but I can't figure out how to customize the names. I downloaded Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 in .ISO format, but instead of showing its name, Nintendont lists it as "Sample Game Name". How can I customize names as they appear in the list?
Actually you can but you need to download the titles text file "there's an option to do it automatically in Nintendont" just edit that text file with notpad or any program you like and change the names of the games as you desire, you can even add new ones for injected titles and what not, I do it all the time.

What is your resolution set at? Or do you have a gigantic TV?

As someone already said no, AV cables do not support progressive just use the hdmi cable that comes with the wiiu srs how hard is that?

I have ssbb but if I mod my Wii U is there any risk when updating or something? I still buy games legit and play a lot.
Updates don't touch vWii, you don't have to worry about that.
Pretty much that
Nintendo hasn't touched vWii in any of its updates for Wii U yet.
And I don't think they will.

Yes they have. Nintendo has updated the vWii part a few times now but nothing that ever stopped homebrew. The last update to the vWii part was last September when Wii U 5.2.0 was released.

Just search and you'll find. Or read this post carefully: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?threads/347411/

There is a tool which you can use to change game id and name of the game. It's for Wii ISO's, but works also with GC, don't get confused seeing the title of the tool telling you this.

Alright so because I've seen quite a lot of people now not knowing how to properly set the triforce header or want to know if they have a valid file in their hands I decided to make a little patcher tool which automatically sets a header readable by a human and also checks the iso SHA1 to make sure whatever they have there is actually a valid dump. Just drag and drop the file you have into the .exe and let it do its work.
As a small bonus I also let it remove some useless data in GP1 which exists because of a overdumped file and also let it fix a known bad texture in virtua striker 4 version 2006 (japan) if the dump happens to have that known dumping error. Let me know if it works like it should.

Hi, I have a question regarding the Bluetooth controller support (Classic Controller (Pro), Wii U Pro Controller).
I have problems with both controllers playing Rogue Squadron 2&3. Up, down, left, right seem to be mixed
with turning the ship circular around their own axis. HID controller support via USB works perfectly. I am using a Wii 4.3

Any clue how to fix this?

You pressed minus which rotates button config

Not sure if you care but there is a small glitch when playing tales of Symphonia whenever you encounter an enemy that has a snake hissing sound when attacking occasionally this sound will play multiple times for example instead of HISS from one attack you get HISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISSHISS...HISS it gets annoying pretty fast especially if you have 5+ serpent enemies in a battle.
