so in nintendont you cannot configure anything per game? just in the loaders as usb/cfg or wiiflow?
Yeah, Nintendont was designed to work with a loader like CFG Loader, USB Loader GX, Wiiflow, etc. It was just given a minimal GUI so it can work alone for the standard user, but the GUI will probably never be expanded upon.

are there settings that are really important? should I use a loader to boot Nintendont?
no the only setiiing you need is mcemu incase your not using a real memory card so yeah an all off and all auto with mcemu set to on or off is compatible with all games.

some settings have issues with some games like forced videomodes, widescreen(not wiiu widescreen that can be always on), width and so on.

It depends on what you want. I like being able to set settings per-game. That way I can set the default settings to use the Widescreen and Progressive patches, but can make exceptions for games like F-Zero GX (which has a native widescreen mode), Four Swords Adventure (where the widescreen patch doesn't work), or Metroid Prime 2 (where the widescreen patch breaks multiplayer). You can also disable the speed limit per stable game without having to change it for the ones that become unstable with it.

Hi, just a quick question: is it possible to get the picture quality sharper matching HDMI standarts? I mean Wii & GameCube games have still that blur/shadow effect even on HDMI output on the WiiU. GS Mode Selector for the PS2 does this so well.

Progressive mode (possibly with patch/hack enabled) with component cables (Wii) or HDMI cable (Wii U) is as good as you're going to get with that hardware. It's still just 480p (upscaled on Wii U, but still 480p, at least it's not anamorphic widescreen). I'm not sure about the Wii U's encoding quality, but the NGC puts out a slightly better quality picture than the Wii (if you're lucky enough to find the component cables at a reasonable price or want to take the time to build your own).

You could try messing with your TV's settings. A lot of TVs anymore have annoying filters on by default. Not only do they not visually complement games all that well, but they also cause a bit of lag (especially denoise), so I'd just go through and disable them all.

If it's still not up to the quality you like, I'd recommend checking out Dolphin, then.

Nope, sorry, we need to crack IOSU in order to change the HDMI output setting...

Well it is an open source project so you can't be sure of that, for all we know it could be ported over to the Wii U at some point with a new menu system and a lot of extra features like recording gameplay and posting on youtube on the fly :P

keep dreaming lol wiiu homebrew doesnt even have an atari emulator let alone an app that goes semi native and semi emulation, not to mentions the entire gx would need to be ported to gx2 and im guessing the minor error on porting and there would be gfx glitch extravaganza.

Okay, I meant in this main project. There's are a fork or two out there and there's nothing stopping you or others from making forks.

I'm aware of that but if we get ports of PC emulators on Wii and DS I don't see why we can't do the same here, most of the work is already done it's only a matter of porting the project and making cuts here and there, I'm not saying it'll be easy but it's doable.

as i said nintendont is not a full emulator, its semi native emulation, wiiu could never do a full GC emulation thats why its much more complicated than a full emulator.

Out of curiosity, what happens you setup a multi memory card and then you fill it up? Can you crate another multi memory card?

I used a multi memory card because I wanted to copy saves to it from the internet and couldn't easily do this with individual memory card files (it wouldn't work).

You can only mount one memory card image at a time. If you fill it up, then it will just be like using a full memory card. You could make a larger image or just use individual ones and figure out your other issue. The images generated by Nintendont work fine for me under Dolphin.

I wouldn't recommend anything larger than a 2MB (251 Blocks) card as it can easily cause memory issues as the Wii and vWii have very limited amount of RAM to begin with. I use individual emuMC just so one game can't interfere with another.

Completely off topic, but would whoever is responsible for creating the compatibility list (or anyone else knowledgeable in that area) mind giving me a few pointers? I'm trying to create a new one, having a little trouble getting started. Thanks.

EmuMC works exactly like a real one, when it's full it's full, if you fill it then you have three options:

-Upgrade to a bigger size "I don't recommend anything bigger than 2 MB though I use 8 MB and it works just fine, just don't use 16 MB as it causes a lot of issues

-Create another EmuMC and keep switching back and fourth "by renaming the files, you can use Wii Xplorer to do it on the Wii on the fly" or just use individual EmuMC for each game

-Delete your old saves that you no longer want, you can either use Dolphin or if you have the GC Bios you can just use that to delete your saves from a EmuMC

These are your only solutions, despite the fact I use MultiMC for I prefer it this way I recommend using indivisual MCs "500 KB each to save space less the game required more space for extra data and such" to be on the safe side, it's also good because if you corrupt a save it'll only affect said game and not the rest of the saves you have.

Why would you create a new one? Anyway, basic text editing is good for that.
