then I don't know why it has been reported that 4k drives weren't compatible anymore since you merged the loader and kernel code together and use IOS58 only.
I don't have a 4k drive to test, but a lot of users reported that it didn't work.
Maybe it works for some users without knowing they are using a 4k, so we don't have working report, only issues.

The control settings are compiled directly into the DOL. So you should be able to just turn on your WiiMote with the nunchuk plugged in and it'll work.
unless its a fake wiimote that wont sync at all i know my fake one doesnt same for manny fakes/3rd party ones.

Hi,
I have autoboot set to OFF in nintendont. However, when I launch nintendont, it asks me to press B to cancel autoboot. If I don't press B, it boots the last game used.

Is this the expected behaviour? I mean, it's like autoboot is ON while it isn't.

nintendont settings are only saved if you start a game so if you setted autoboot off and then exited nintendont the setting was never saved. Also if your suing a loader like usbloadergx and such they have their own settings for nintendont.

@Cyan

Nintendont does support 4k sectors. I'm using a 6TB Hitachi and the USB enclosure shows to the host as 4k physical and logical. USBloader GX, d2x, Nintendont and Neek are all working great.

This was a very different story a couple of years back though.

hi I can't get my pdp luigi gamecube controller to work correctly with super mario sunshine the zL/zR analog triggers don't work like the classic controller I have does they are analog too and work just fine. except they are L/R my wife bought me this controller and I don't really have a use for it other than my gamecube games running them off nintendont because disc drive is shot in my wii :( so if someone could direct me to the correct controller driver zip file for nintendont that would be great or a solution that works that too would be great

im preety sure those controllers arent pressure sensitive, CC is pressure sentitive, CCpro isnt and im guessing those are like the CCpro all digital its either on or off, but you can do a mid press by keep pressed L and then L+ZR is mid R press on gamecube and L+ZL is mid press L on the gamecube.

thanks that worked, though i figured with the back shoulder buttons having the long press to click they would be supported to play sunshine and other games like it without the having to press two buttons to get that to work

its not a matter of being suported, those button arent pressure sensitive at all they are just for show they only do yes or no they dont give any range on pressure, nintendo only made the CC with that, every other controller made after that doesnt have them becuase nintendo didnt want to pay for it blame them, we cant support what the controller cant do lol.

so there is no way to alter the controller to make them pressure sensitive ? and that is screwed up of nintendo knowing people have wiis and could be playing gamecube discs on them and since they stopped making the gamecube ports on the side of the wiis i thought this was a two fer you could play your gamecube games if your wii doesn't have a gamecube port and you could play smash on wii u without smashing up your wii u tablet wtf???? nintendo needs to get their shit together or else they might slip into bankcruptcy and keep in mind I have had every nintendo system out from the original nes all the way to the wii u I am a huge nintendo fan but this is crazy

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

also why is it that holding 'L' and pressing zR works ?

It works becuase it was coded that way for controllers without pressure triggers(ccpro,WiiUPro and such), and no there is no way lol unless you were an advanced eletronic guy and replaced parts and chips and bought springs and whatnot lol you would be better of getting the wiiu gc adapter and buying a gc controller lol.

Not even wiiu gamepad has pressure sensitive triggers, the last controller to have it, was CC and every controller released after that doesnt have it, well obviously the smash controller for wiiu has it but that is becuase its just a GC controller with the smash logo on it lol.

yea that is true about the smash controller, the worst part about all of this is I didn't think I'd be playing gamecube games again and gave my 5 year old nephew my old orange gamecube controller and he lives in allentown I live in ashland which is 1 hr 35 min drive for me and I can't ask my nephew for it back knowing him he already destroyed it, I gave it to him because my son was playing with an old ps3 controller my brother-in-law took apart for the pressure sensitive triggers and thought I wouldn't notice after he "borrowed" it, and so I gave it to my son who is 3 to play pretend while the wife plays ps3 and while the nephew was up he wanted to 'play' with me on my wii u and I said he can't because he was too young, so I gave him the orange gamecube controller I had......ughhhh stupid me, and my wii has the gamecube ports on the side and all...... :( stupid me.........

Nah, PDP just needlessly followed the design of the gamecube controller a bit too much in some areas. I'd recommend the Hori equivalents, instead.

Nintendo recently put out brand new NGC controllers for the release of SSB4, so if you want a brand spanking new NGC controller, I'd recommend picking one up.

I don't know if this is a known issue, but does Nintendon't have issues running the custom parts in F-Zero GX? I've tried about 4 different ISO's now and not a single one has had the working custom parts for making your own vehicles. I'm on the latest version of Nintedon't on the Wii U through vWii. I'd like to try out making custom vehicles, but I haven't had any luck at all. It just lets you select one part and then it acts as if you composed the whole vehicle.

Nintendo isn't the ones making the new GameCube controllers. They contracted a 3rd party to make them but they are identical to the original ones release over 10 years ago. They even use the same model number DOL-003.

EDIT: I still think that the GameCube controller is one of the best controllers out there (minus the C-Nipple).

My main complaint about the NGC controller is the D-pad. Hori's Battle Pad does improve it quite a bit. If it didn't have to fit the restrictions of the Classic Controller, the Battle Pad could have been perfect.
