So if I compile my gcms using the gamecube sdk they still won't work?
as desribed here http://www.vrender.eu/gcn.html

I guess if you are able to get the original nintendo dolphin sdk from 2001 from nintendo japan somehow and then completely rewrite the homebrew application then it would work.
So, forget about it.
I say if ned thinks he can make it work, just let him try ;)

I'll give it a try this weekend, I have the sdk that's no problem, I'm just wondering how the dols produced
from devkitpro differ to ones from the official sdk, unless it has to do with elf to dol packer you use.
Homebrew uses softdev's d0lLZ,
DOLPAK which had 7zip support
or DolTool v0.3 by loser 2003.

progressive screen shows when you have mcemu ON on the games that support it, the force progressive being on or off doesnt affect the message it will still say that if you have mcemu on, gonna try the game latter today since i finished rogue squadron II and found no issues and i will report with my finds i will use this setup

I didn't have mcemu on, just using a real one. But still got progressive on every game I played. Rogue 2 / rogue 3 / luigi's mansion.
And no issues with rogue 2, just numero 3. I'll see if rev307 is out and give that a go. otherwise test 305. or what would be the most stable sanity release for peeps just wanting to kick back and play.
I'll test, but just curious?

also, when I drop in an older .dol do I need to update the xml by hand or just delete it? or does it matter

edit... just tested rev 307 and it let me all the way through the entire mission on rogue 3 and worked flawlessly until the summary screen and pressing B. then it froze. only one play so far.

still need to test 305.

thanks

Sonic R crashed on me after a few races with a black screen and a soft bleep. Couldn't get Fighters to crash but I imagine it would as well. Running from SD card on v3.305, so the USB changes have nothing on this game.
I should test this game again then to see, I guess I was lucky but I only tested those games for a short period of time lately, how many races did you play before the crash? Do you remember which track and character? How long have you been playing it? Any information could help.

Funny thing is, my nieces are coming over tonight and they love to play Sonic R so maybe they can help me test it more!

A friend of mine is trying to use Nintendont. The application opens but wont't find his games, we've tried everything we could think of.

CFG screenshot only shown to show IOS, he's been trying default Nintendont.

I'm using the latest version of Wiiflow with Nintendont 3.307 on my vWii.
Every time I launch a gamecube game from wiiflow, it starts nintendont and asks me to chose SD or USB.

How do I change it so that it launches the game instead of nintendont?

Thanks,

I just finished testing Sonic gems Collection with r307 and I got the opposite results, played Sonic R fully with ALL five tracks and they all ran fine.

Then I played through Sonic The Fighters and the game crashed at level 6 against Bean with a noise.

I give up, I don't know what it is but for some reason Sonic and Nintendont just don't get along, I'd hate to go back to Devo for this game and Dios mios doesn't run this game (not unless you sacrifice your laser tray by having a disc be installed) :'(

Hi I'm having a slight problem with the game Kururin Squash, I specifically tried it because I saw Fix94 posted about it in this thread.

It's a lot of fun so far, but I've noticed some problems with the audio. The music will sometimes just cut out for the whole level, or be stuck on loop. I've noticed this the most with levels 1-5 and 1-6. I know this is a relatively obscure game, but is this known/ can it be fixed?

Well, it seems that in r307 it freezes again for me but after 6-7 restarts of track... :/ (in SR)

let the xml be he updates to whatever revision you are using by itself after you start it with a new dol, never touch it.

So it frooze what do you mean? no disc error? a freeze with a beep? a freeze you could exit with the exit combo? i did 4 missions in a row on 307 so far with no issues are you forcing any settings or shrunken iso?

It still froze for me on 305 but after like 15 min of track retries lol, is there any settings to use? I'm using default settings :p

then this freeze isnt a disc read error freeze, im guessing its some wierd issue maybe arstartdma one since sonic gems is on the papper mario exception so i switched the exception to the nfs2 one now, try the dol below like before change name to boot.dol to see if a diferent exception fixes the issue or not.

I've tested for 30 min, and it didn't froze at all, so I think it's fixed, but I'm waiting other peoples to test too :D
well if this exception works it usualy fully works. So im happy to see it worked this exception is preety extreme it usualy goes both ways like fully fixing a game or not even let it get ingame so its why its an exception.
