Download controllers.zip and place the entire folder on the root of your device where your games are stored. Make sure to enable HID devices in the settings since it's a usb controller/adapter

Ok so i downloaded the Inis and put them on my flashdrive. I put them in the root but then it said it was missing controller.ini from the usb then i tried making a folder named controller and placed them in there but keep getting the error any help?

the folder needs to be named "controllers" with no quotes

Sorry for saying code lol its a habit but im getting:
Init HID devices... Failed! Shutting Down
Missing USB:/controller.ini

Is there 1 specific .ini I should rename controller? because they all have different names. Oh and i tried controller and controllers

Is the folder "controllers" in the same root directory as your games folder? It needs to be where you store your games not where Nintendont is unless they are on the same device.

It should be:

USB: /controllers
USB: /games

or

SD: /controller
SD: /games

If your doing the folder method then the folder must be named controllers

If you want to use an individual method then the file is named controller

open them up and find the one that says Wii U gamecube controller adapter or whatever. Copy that one to the root of your storage device and rename to controller.ini

Are you loading games from your usb while your launching Nintendont from sd?

Hey guys you all seem really helpful I'm wondering if one of you can recommend a 64gb SD card that works for Nintendont. I had to swap my 16gb's between my 3DS and my WiiU to get this working initially, now I'm looking to have my entire disc library ripped and on my SD card and 64 should do the trick, I just want to make sure I get one that works. I just spent hours googling it but I just see people saying it works, not which ones. I don't mind paying more, I just want it to actually work. Thanks in advance.

I use a Polaroid 64GB Class 10

It does work. It uses the exact same controller.ini file as the official adapter.

Only wavebirds and wired controllers are confirmed working with it, bongos and dance mats have issues
The bongos should be compleatly playable, The only issue they have is you cant adjust the clap sensitivity.
What problem are you having with dance mats?

Im loading games off a flashdrive and launching Nintendont from a Sd card

We are actually talking about the Mayflash version of the adapter, not the official one. It has issues with the bongos, dance mats, etc

where are you putting the controller files?
