Where did you get this info? Both Nintendont and Devolution were capable of rendering those effects since very early revisions. Devolution had a bug probably related to the verification reading process which prevented many effects from showing correctly but they would still show if you ran the game for the first time.
So it never needed a game specific hack to get working in the first place. The game was properly supported around August '14, right after I supplied a log of the game which I intentionally had not done. This has nothing to do with Nintendont.

I had to dive deeply into a 40+ pages PM conversation I have with a fellow user in here to find the message I wrote back some time ago.
Here:
Got it.
Check this post made by me in the Nintendont thread a few months back:
http://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendont.349258/page-473#post-5038645
I state in there that I switched both Shadow The Hedgehog and Sonic Heroes to Nintendont.
I made that because of the GFX issues with the Team Blast attack and other stuff in game.
Check the date.

Now check THIS post in the Devo thread:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/devolution-public-release.330554/page-201#post-5073176
And look at what another user replies two posts below that one:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/devolution-public-release.330554/page-201#post-5073247

Now compare the dates of both replies in both threads.

Well, the gfx in Sonic Heroes is finally fixed. :D

I don't see how this has anything to do with:
I find it odd that after Fix94 implemented a fix for that game back in the day (which ran the light orbs from Dark's Team Blast in Nintendont) a revision of Devo got released a few days after which fixed the Team Blast graphics in Devo.
FIX94 never implemented a fix for this game because it was always working.
I posted the log on May 21 so it wasn't that close to the actual release, but like I said; it was a devo only bug and no code in nintendont would have helped, only the log could have.
Since you bothered to look up old stuff: http://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendont.349258/page-59#post-4854994
One quick question, I forget if Nintendont has an option to change video settings to like 480i, 480p, etc in Settings... Does it?
It does and then some.

Not a "fix" per-se, I was referring to the date back then when Sonic Heroes was working for the first time with Nintendont from the very first time.

To force 480p you need to set the videomode to auto and turn progressive scan on, this is only useful on non progressive scan ntsc titles, it just swaps 480i60Hz for 480p60Hz.
You can't force 480i60Hz to 576i50Hz you can however force 480i60Hz to PAL60.
You can't force 576i50Hz to 480i60Hz or 480p60Hz and theres no 576p50Hz option given to compensate for this, 576i50Hz to PAL60 may work I haven't tried it.

so i have bean using nintendont and ive had some problems i was told using a motion+ control makes you wii u into a usless paper wait brick so i have a some questions ik a normal control does not work so im using a pro controller put i can really move the hand courser and i really want to play Mario party 8 so how does this all work???? (meaning how do i move the courser in a rom)

Thanks for bothering but I don't force my games, they force me. And the deflicker option also counts as video forcing since it doesn't actually enable deflicker, it just forces a video mode with deflicker enabled. The DF option in SSBM would get stuck otherwise.

Is there any way to disable the R+Z+Start reset shortcut when using a Gamecube controller on a Wii, or just all of the shortcuts in general??
