My first try was with my own rip, that is shrunk by the way. I tried to start that rip with Nintendont via the WiiFlow Mod - and the console restarted. So my first thought was a bad dump - so I downloaded a copy out of the net and tried it with that version, not shrunk. Same result, it restarts.

Nevermind, four things I suppose, in two separate scenarios. My guess is one of these two things happened; 1) you got extremely unlucky and your drive gave you a bad read and the copy you fetched from the internet was either bad from the start or got corrupted/fragmented on download, or 2) something is wrong with your WiiFlow mod, I've had weird experiences with it as well, back when I was using Devolution it would do the exact same thing you just described

if the md5 of the site you got your iso doesnt match either then its a bad dump doesnt matter where you get it keep trying until you find a matching redump md5

Thanks you two. I'll try to find an ISO where the MD5 is correct and give some feedback.

wiiu cant run the pal gc bios from what i gathered from fix it seems the guys that did vwii homebrew didnt incorporate the gcpal bios videomode on the vwii homebrew thats why video gets destroyed so delete the pal bios the ntsc and jap bios work nicely.

Someone needs to add this to OP
WIIU CANT USE GC PAL BIOS

Thanks for clarification. OK, so this is a problem already known and bugfixing it is not very trivial. I see... How about forcing the video mode patching on the BIOS, like it's done on games? Seems like it's not bein active there, right? Last thing I could think of is a missing entry in the video modes list which is already bein patched by the video mode patching.

patching video mode does nothing the bios refuses to be patched or something but yeah we need a warning on the OP that the wiiu cant use the pal gcbios

So, should we make a copy of the US bios and name it iplpal.bin in place of the proper PAL bios?

no you shoud not use a pal bios at all pal games get messed up when booted with bios on vwii and you cant force an ntsc bios on a pal game either.

You can live without a pal bios...its not needed at all to play pal games.

Yes, while is true that you don't need pal bios to play PAL Games, I find this issue pretty odd, do you have more info about this?

not fix94 just said the palgcbios uses a very wierd and totaly diferent videomode that aparently the ppl that made the vwii homebrew channel didnt even cared to port the support for it thats why on vwii if you exit a broken pal game booted with the bios you will be on the homebrew channel but the entire screen will be black but youc an move and hear stuff and click on them becuase the pal bios changed the homebrew videomode to something unsuported and the homebrew channel doesnt even have the info to revert it when exiting to the homebrew channel.

^The more reason why I don't see a purpose to switch to the Wii U just yet, honestly the Wii U is faulty in many aspects.

Lucky for me I only have 2 PAL games and if I had to remove the PAL bios I don't mind seince they save on the US EmuMC anyway so you can always edit your saves using an NTSC game, though I hope the PAL bios issue get a work around for Wii U sometime.

sj33 I tried using an NTCS bios and rename it to make the console think it's pal, while the bios file will work fine the game will not run.

Hi!
First, many thanks for the app, is awesome! :yaywii:
I have a problem with Megaman X Collection, posted previously in the page 996.
I noticed a regular frame freeze pattern every 10 seconds approximately after of 5 to 10 minutes de gameplay.
Testing in Megaman X4.
My settings and extra data:
- Nintendont r284
- Full ISO and compress ( same problem in both cases)
- Verified md5 Full iso
- All option OFF except emulation Memory Card ( 251 blocks)
- In WII with Normal cable
- Testing in Wiiflow and homebrew channel directly
- Testing in 2 hard disk, fat32 format and 32kb cluster. ( 160gb and 1 tb)
- In the case of the hard drive 1tb, the problem is very much more marked.
- Only game witch this problem is Megaman x collection, testing many others and no problem.
- Testing in r204 and no problem , but when returning to boss selection screen, there frame freeze.
- In adition to this problem, both r204 and r284, have problem with BT controllers in the save screen, very slow respond.
PD: sorry for my english

what you mean by frame freeze patern? never heard of anything like that lol

Just tested Megaman X4 and I don't see any ice cubes in my screen. Joking, the game runs fine and without any kind of frame freeze, input lag, frameskip, hangs, it runs flawlessly.

Edit:Also I'm using the same setup, except that I have another HDD.
