So Luigis mansion only crashes when widescreen is enabled? Why is it marked orange for stability then?

Widescreen and memory card emulation both crash the game to different degrees with 2.236, that's the only reason I can think of.

Edit: I thought you meant the entire game was marked as orange, not just that one section. My bad!

MCE does not effect if a game is marked green/orange/red for compatiblity

if it has MCE problems then it should be marked ONLY in the memory card column

No one seems to read my posts here but in reference to the Wii U adapter I only get missed inputs and buttons getting stuck when I use USB. When I use SD card it works perfectly fine.

What games are you testing?

I tested need for speed carbon heavily today with my new wavebird controllers I ordered and it worked flawlessly

Just Melee with the 20xx pack. Its a mod of melee with changes some of the .dol files. With SD card plugged into front and adapter plugged into front usb port it works perfectly fine. When my hard drive is plugged into back ports and adapter is plugged into front ports the game will randomly freeze up on my inputs, but only inputs. Could it be the 20xx mod? (http://smashboards.com/threads/the-...re-alt-stages-costumes-new-debug-menu.351221/) Like the joystick will get stuck in a certain direction or a button will be held down.

what about regular melee? do you still get missed inputs through USB loading?

hello everyone trying to get nintendont and wiiflow setup nicely and so far everything works great. the only problem i am having is for some reason i cannot get nintendont to auto load the ngc game directly from wiiflow. when i click the game it loads then takes me to nintendont and gives me the choice of sd or usb instead of just auto loading the game. i have wiiflow set to use nintendont as default ngc loader. what else am i missing? the games load fine if i select one but i would much prefer to auto load from wiiflow when i select the game.

does this happen in all controller ports? Also do you have another USB drive to test? a USB card reader for your SD card would be the perfect test

Yeah Ill test it with usb card tomorrow. And yes I was playing 4 player melee with friends and we all noticed it. Also I'm not sure how autobooting my last game would help me out here.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
    +1
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D

@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
