Hey guys, i cannot get PSO+ to work for me and it is due to a mistake on my part, cause others have gotten it to work.
I am 99% sure it is due to me not having a PAL iso for this game (haven't managed to track a PAL PSO+ iso) and my CRT TV unable to handle ntsc video, anyway here is the info:

Game: Phantasy Star Online Ep. I & II PLUS
Describe Issue: Black screen right after agreeing to user conditions and setting the date in the game's startup
Region Game: NTSC US
Wii/Wii U: Wii PAL 4.3
Nintendont revision: r202
Last know working revision (if any): all past r.200 have given me the same behaviour
Loader used (if any) with revision no.: Nintendont straight from the Homebrew Channel and also tried with USBLoaderGX r1231
SD/USB Pen/USB HDD: USB HDD
SD/USB Pen/USB HDD make, model, size, format & cluster size: SEAGATE EXPANSION 1TB, 2.5'' HDD connected via usb to rear Wii outside port, FAT32, cluster size 32K, primary, active, works perfectly with ~610 Wii,GC,VC & Wiiware games & homebrews
ISO 1:1/compressed: ISO 1:1
McEmu/Real Mem card and size: Emulated Memory Card, Multi Off, 251 Blocks.
Native on/off: Off
Controller used if Native off: Wiimote & Nunchuck, Wiimote & Classic Controller
Composite/Component/HDMI: official RGB Nintendo Wii cable connected to 29'' Phillips CRT TV

Please note that i have tried 4 different isos from different sources, all have the same behaviour (working fine till date setting and then it blackscreens). HDD light and Wii light are still on when black screen occurs btw.

If anyone has come across PAL isos for PSO+ & Smashing Drive (i can only get that to boot @forcePAL50 bleuh) please give me a shout.
This might sound silly, but make sure you're selecting 'No' on the date screen. If you select Yes, the game tries to return to the GameCube date/calendar screen, causing the game to crash. You have to select no.

I made the same mistake 3 times until I read the text properly.

How i do for USB Loader GX see my games of gamecube that are in my SD CARD?

I set the path to sd: /games on SD Gamecube Path, however the game does not appear.

The USB Loader GX is not able to show the gamecube games that are on the sd card (FAT 32) together with the Wii games that are on my HD (WBFS)?

Just want to thank the devs for getting the Phantasy Star Online games working! These games have never worked on Dios Mios etc. It's surreal to be playing these games on a current gen console. The 'Plus' version of PSO 1+2 has most of the online quests available offline, and the game supports split screen. So it's still a great game to play even offline!

Should Nintendont ever support the broadband adaptor (in the distant future), this will be one of the key games to play as it is still fully playable online using the unofficial SCHTHACK servers. :)

The first thing that comes to mind is stop using things that aren't compatible. ;)
No he's right, I been having this issue too but never bothered to report it, dios mios has nothing to do with it, it works just fine with real memory cards, same with Devolution too, problem is real memory card support is very clunky in Nintendont and works when it wants, after the format I keep a raw file for my "fixed" memory card and every time I get that same error I reinstall it and it works again, that was the only fix I found but it's not a good one and is risky of damaging your memory card as well as losing your new progress if you forgot to update the raw file.

btw JoostinOnline speaking of controllers, for future references if I update from the updater will I install the new controller file on USB or SD? Since I keep this folder on both SD and USB to be prepared (which is the ideal way) but I want to make sure which one is updated to copy it over the other, thanks!

Cyan good luck with the update, you were waiting for the holidays to properly work on it but with the increase of updates you had to rush things and go for it, I'd suggest to take it easy, maybe have the new USBLGX detect only the new Nintendont (since the majority of users, as well as new users will automatically use the new version) while leave support for the older versions for another update, who knows maybe you won't even need it, probably by the time you get around doing so Nintendont will be updated enough to have all games that worked before to work in the latest versions (it almost does anyway, save for the Chao race in Sonic Adventure from what I can tell).

It's extracted to the same drive as you launched Nintendont from. Why do you have it on multiple drives?

Like sonictopfan said it is not dios mios. I could be playing a game on a gamecube or without dios mios on wii and nintendont and will say "your memory card is corrupted" And also there are some games that I have that are not compatible with nintendont so I have to use something else like dios mios to play them. If nintendont had 100% game compatibility I would only use nintendont to play my games.

You should be using Emulated Memory Card (multi off) in case of corruption. Most testers here will agree with me
The thing is my memory card doesn't corrupt. Nintendont just stops detecting it when you load or save using something that is not nintendont.

Which is why I said stop doing it. :P

Memory card emulation is a better and safer to use.

Aw man that sucks I hoped that I would be able use my memory card. Oh well I will just stick with what I am doing until I find a way to permanently fix my memory card. Thank you for the info though. :)

RIP Real Memory Card.

Seriously, stick with the real MC for Dios Mios, and just do a raw dump of that very same memory card with GCMM and use that dump for MC Emulation in Nintendont.
That way you won't mix them nor get the chance of corruption.

Harry Potter GOF controls don't work at all with bluetooth controllers (reset works though) but works perfect with HID controllers. What a very strange problem
