just made a new update containing all kinds of stuff:
-greatly increased controller read updates for interrupt read based games, this should help people with slow controls
-changed up patching system a bit, made the debug prints more unified and added a safety check for EXIUnlock to make sure we write to the right function, this fixes music in both collectors edition menu and twilight princess
-added a small debugging option which makes it possible to compile nintendont with a very small amount of patches, note that this will only help developers to understand certain problems better

I have a problem with Pokemon XD NTSC version. Most of the text is written backwards including the Nintendo Log that first appears. Why is this?

Widescreen issues...turn off the widescreen hack

Doesn't even matter because pokemon xd doesn't work with Nintendont yet

its getting harder and harder to fix games, I just made a little progress which is better than nothing:
-moved most audio streaming and interrupt relevant info into unused hardware registers
-skipping SIGetType patch for sonic adventure dx to fix its double presses
-started adding more patterns and patches for games using the debug sdk, none of them work yet though, alot needs to be done still
I also was at a point where call of duty had buttons working, the problem there is that the patches I made to the game broke most other games so that needs alot of work if I dont want to break alot.
Thank you so much for fixing Sonic Adventure DX

btw how difficult would it be to fix Billy Hatcher? I heard there's a patch needed for the save but I'm not sure how that works, I mean you can try to fix easier games atm and leave the more complex ones for later, I for one would love to be able to play Phantasy Star Online or the Triforce games with Nintendot!

Can someone test

Batman: Vengeance
Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II
Sega Soccer Slam

on the latest rev. Those games used to shut down the wii/reboot the wiiu (according to compatibility list). Since v2.164 those games should produce a black screen WITHOUT shutting down/rebooting the system. If they still shut down/reboot the system, fix probably has to add more patch patterns...

Now that you mentioned that, I tested Batman Vengeance and Frogger Ancient Shadow earlier today and like you said they gave me black screen instead of shutting down the Wii like normal!

FIX94

I thank you from deep down my heart for all the effort you have put in Nintendon't, I really appreciate your work, but I also have a question, what stops Nintendon't from receiving NTFS support? Just curious.

Do we know what the actual cause was?

ARStartDMA yet again, the timings this game needs are basically on need for speed hot pursuit 2 level, I cant get it perfect but I'll see how far I can bring it, this change will for sure introduce random crashes and I cant tell how heavy they'll be yet, it all needs alot of testing with variables.

Damn, that's what I was afraid of.. :( Sorry, maybe I would have been better off not reporting the game audio as broken.... Esp. if it meant possibly breaking more games' compatibility. I should have kept silent about it. UGH..... :shy:
