Ok, I just tested here on Wii and it's working with normal speed.
Thanks, seems the new GSU detection routine doesn't affect speed :)

But i'd like someone to check this PR made to upstream Snes9x for add SuperFX 8MB ROM emulation support:
https://github.com/snes9xgit/snes9x/pull/712/files

And adapt it for be able to use this feature but with always avoiding overloading the Wii RAM/CPU for not make the games too slower.
I just don't know a simple way to do it. Maybe using a virtual memory for Wii? IDK.

Is it really that important? Which games need this? Maybe Wii can't support it properly, unfortunately.

Dunno if it's related, but I noticed that Snes9xRx runs slower than current Snes9xGx. Which is odd.

Aaaah! Real Monsters still freezes in the first level when switching characters. That bug has been around forever!

Just to report a weird bug in Orbitus (U): Pause the game reveals the missing background (this bug happens after some playtime ~ 5 minutes)

And Olivias Mystery (J) shows an distorted titlescreen in high-resolution

I couldn't reproduce this. I can switch characters and the game doesn't freeze.

Does the Obitus (U) bug happen on Snes9xRX too?

Olivia's Mystery (J) bug I could confirm, this is happening on some titles.

OK, I tried your RX fork and encountered the same behavior with Orbitus. But I'm really sorry, it's in fact not a game bug, it's simply a dark area who needs to be enlighten with an item. But it is weird that the room enlightens if the game is paused.

LOL, Obitus. Well, at least the issue with Olivia is real and doesn't happen there.
