Damn, I will have to play all the way up to that point of the game.
It only happens for Resident Evil Zero?
The other RE games (Remake, CV, 4) work good with the disc swapping?

I don't play them so I have no clue. Maybe that guy will be nice enough to upload his memory card file

EDIT: I know this might be a little old but this might be a great addition to Nintendont as a work around to those that have Digital Inputs in their controls and want the option of a possible soft-pressing in the control.

Check this out:

I'm not sure if this counts but i have all the resident evil games that use disc swapping and i load up disc 2 and start a new game. Each game swaps disc 2 back to disc 1 to start a new game. I have not tried it from swapping disc 1 to disc 2 though.

I think there were Jikkyou Pawafuru Pro Yakyu 9-10-11-12 on Gamecube. At least thats what I have.

it turns out there are more:
Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 9
Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 9 Ketteiban
Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 10
Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 10 Chou Ketteiban
Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 11
Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 11 Chou Ketteiban
Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 12
Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 12 Ketteiban
Jikkyou Powerful Major League

i don't what's the difference between two editions of each game but their covers are different.
google translates Chou Ketteiban as "memorial edition".

Would be easier to do this...

IMPORTANT:
To all the users that have issues with Nintendont NOT swapping to disc 2, PLEASE provide your memory card .raw file so others can test it.
Bear in mind that not all the users have the game NOR the time to play all the way until that point of the game, so it would be easier to others to verify with a save file of exactly where the game crashes.

Also, this might apply to other games that freeze in certain portions of the game.

Can stuff like "Grass not appearing outside 4/3 in Widsecreen hack", even be solved?
I mean, isn't it like that cause there was no reason to render outside the screen. And just forcing increased FOV or how it's put, doesn't really change the core for that.

Though then again, i have no idea how forcing Widescreen even works as i am simply thinking "640x480->854x480" and PC terms.

There is no way to solve that.
The reason why some things do not appear outside the 4:3 range is because the game was made in that resolution.
Everything loads and was programmed to load that way, so making a good "Widescreen hack" for games like those would mean reprogramming some stuff in game.

Your best bet is to play the game without the Widescreen hack, meaning you would have to play with a stretched screen so things load accordingly with your 16:9 TV

The way widescreen hack works AFAIK is that it widens the view of the game while retaining all the models and 3D objects in their proper dimensions.
Some things like HUDs might be moved to the edges, but out of that, that's it.

Yeah as i said then, though with poor wording.

Just noticed that in the compatibility list stuff like that were mentioned, so i thought people referred to them as "issues in compatibility", but i take it's just meant as a side note then.

Well aside from Code Veronica I just use the Wii version of each 2disc games for Resident Evil, anyway I'm still having the swap disc issue and I don't know what am I doing wrong here!

It's not a problem with compatibility, but more like not compatible with the Widescreen hack only.
Some games like Star Wars Rogue Squadron 2 and the Resident Evil games are not compatible with such hack because all the stuff in the game (like the background of the RE games which are prerendered images) are rendered in 4:3 resolution natively... sadly.

Capcom is even making their own lameass solution for that issue with their upcoming Remade/Remake.

Man, provide the save files for the games you are having issues with saved right before the moments the game asks you too switch to disc 2 so other people can test them without the hastle of going through half of the game.

Yeah, think there should be some clear statement for those stuff, like it's own compatibility list perhaps.

Kinda want to see that;P

Version 2.149 is up.

-Added support for Mayflash Classic controller Pro USB Adapter - PC045 This
requires updating nintendont and the controller.ini (THANKS CoreyW)
-Fixed Dpad=1 not allowing the dpad and some other control to be used at the
same time (Thanks CoreyW)
-Fixed MayFlash Wii CC USB Adapter - PC052 controller.ini triggers

EDIT
their was also a partial patch for compatability with older loaders that Cyan was working on that got uploaded by mistake.

It's not that I can't proceed and I need help, thing is all 3 2disc games I have I can proceed just fine if I select the correct disc as they save before the swap thingie, plus swap disc works fine for me in Dios Mios, I just wanna figure out why they won't work in Nintendont, something must be fucked up, I recall they worked before the audio streaming update, might try an older build to confirm some other time though!

Actually, it DOES have it's own list. If you take a look at the compatibility list, if a game has the square which marks the Widescreen hack coloured orange or yellow, which means it has issues with the hack.

Kinda want to see that;P

Just take a look at the thread:
http://gbatemp.net/threads/resident-evil-1-to-be-remastered.369690/

Some guy in there explains how Capcom is working their wayaround that issue, which is pretty lame.

I am aware that you can save before the disc switch, but I was asking for the save files of those 3 games to test them myself since I want to see if that issue happens to me too in 2.149 or just happens to you. That way we might debug this issue even better.

ShadowOne333 I took your advice and tested TMNT 2 to see if it's related to the saves I have, so I disabled MC and started disc 2, started a new game and guess what, it went to disc 1.

At this point I figured the issue is related to my save file, but why? the games save and load fine so they can't be corrupted, so I looked up complete saves on the internet (TMNT2) to see if that works, what happened? Game freezes at swap disc.

So I thought maybe it has to do with the "multi" MC option, I decided to set the game to "individual" instead and started a new game in disc 2, then it swapped fine to disc 1.

Finally I took this new "individual"save and copied my complete save for TMNT2, loaded up the game, picked disc 1, went to the later levels with the other half of the game, swap disc worked fine.

Went and did that with the other two games I have, worked fine (YEAH), so this leaves me with even less games that I use with DM please hurry up and fix Sonic Adventure and Billy Hatcher :yay:

Wow...
What a whole lot of a mess we got there with the saves.
So basically the issue was isolated to the "Multi" option of the MC Emu, right?
That option is still somewhat buggy.
I to think that I was just about to switch to it... :P
Nope hahaha.

Whenever I attempt to load using cfg, it always loads NHL Hitz, regardless of what game I pick. Works fine if I use the native app instead of a loader.

Any help?

Glad to see that problem is solved. I was actually playing RE CV until i got to the part where you swap disc to upload the game save like ShadowOne333 said but it looks like its not needed now. Never used multi for my memorycard saves.

I encourage you to continue with that save file until you reach to the disc swap part, and let us know if you could swap them without any issues so this issue can be isolated to just using Multi Memory Card emulation.

EDIT:
Has anyone tried to see if games that do not save at the moment (like Pokemon Colosseum) work with other MC sizes?
Like 59, 251, 1019, etc?

I read in a post in Nintendo's Customer Service that some games had issues with 1019 memory cards or so:
http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/memorycard1019.jsp

It's worth the shot anyway to see if we can get Pokemon Colosseum to work.
