It worked on Dios Mios back in the past on my Wii as well, but the ISO dump I made was corrupted, so I had to re-dump it. Again ShadowOne333 did indeed get it to run, he can vouch that as fact. Methinks it has to do more with bad dumps more than anything. He verified his ISO on redump.org so that's a good way to find out for sure.

I tried 2.148 and I got a black screen of death, but I was still able to use the soft reset button combo, so it wasn't frozen, just wouldn't boot up. Dumped the game again and it's clean and verified according to the SHA-1, etc. Does USB Loader GX need to be on the apps on the SD or HDD? Used DiscEX to convert the game into its respective folders and is named game.iso.

Do not, i repeat, do NOT convert the iso.
Let's troubleshoot this: Let be as it was when you downloaded it. Name it game.iso and put in in a folder named
Burnout 2 [GB4E51]. Full iso should be 1.35GB. Now put the above folder in the /games folder of your HDD or your SD (i use HDD).
Also, when loading the game via USBLGX or Nintendont loader, tinker with the settings.
My settings are: LED light on, MC emu on, MC size:251, maxpads:1, video:force PAL60, usb ON and ALL other options are OFF.

Btw, you can put /apps/usbloader_gx/boot.dol whenever you like. I have it my SD card, cause i run my HBC from there... But your mileage may vary.

Now i'm trying to use the USB Loader GX ver, but i can't play because it says that i need the abh_broth (something like that, i'm not sure), but if I use nintendont from HBC works perfect.

it's ahbrot or something and it should be a problem with your meta.xml file in /apps/usbloader_gx/.

Here i'll upload my own meta.xml (for ios 250 btw, if you use another slot, just change the number in the xml)

Yup, this is the solution to the Burnout 2 issue. I'm glad we know what the problem is now.
guess someone should add that in the notes, ppl that got it working on the wii were most likely using usblodergx or wiiflow since they force maxpads 1 by default

Already beat you to it:P
i already added those nots on those 2 splinter cell games last night but there might be more games besides tjose 2 splinter cell games and burnout 2 so ppl pay attention when a game works for some ppl and not for others its all about the settings.

Er, correction, it was already an ISO format, yes, but this renamed it to game.iso, that's all it did, It also made a folder with the Game ID, that is ALL IT DID, as I'm too lazy to Google the IDs on the database. I tried making my own folder before, and the ISO didn't load; no harm no foul. Once more, I tried to make a folder before with game.iso and it didn't work. My other ISO images are the proper size in their respective folders and all work fine. This ISO was not converted, that I assure you. That being said, haven't tried those other settings to see how their fare, but I'm personally not getting my hopes up.

I haven't tried it via USB Loaders yet.

I use This list to get a gameid. Just control f and search the game

To easily find a game's ID, open a wii or gc .iso/.gcm/.wad file with dolphin. Right click on the game, check properties and you'll get the game's official name as well as the game's ID. Works with VC, wiiware, and disc games.

Annnnnnd I give up. Damn thing won't run, at all, and even after all the settings in USB Loader GX were set up, nothing, nada. Shouldn't it boot the gamecube game FIRST instead of going through USB Loader then Nintendont? Do I change the IOS at all?

Edit; No audio....WTF????

It works perfectly on the Wii U. It can't be a bad dump

I'm wondering why your ISOs are corrupt, I always use Internet ISOs, as for now, all my internet ISOs works fine.

Hey guys, sorry I just got online.
I can confirm it works on my normal Wii with GC ports, I will try to upload a (poor quality) video of me booting it in my Wii in a few hours just to get that straight.
Goku Junior How can I do a sys check of my Wii to see what differences are there between my Wii and the_randomizer's one?[/quote]

Sorry for double post but uh, Burnout 2 has no audio, at all.

What the hell is going on? Is the ISO image bad? I get no music, but I get sound effects. The game works, but no music.

Give me sometime, I will upload the video of the Wii running Burnout 2 and we can check from there.

Why do you say that? Weird. Anyways, yes, the game does work, now, but only sound effects, on 2.148, no idea why this is occurring, but it ain't normal. I should be getting BGM.

hey guys i notice XIII was green on comparability list. im still having same issue, did i do something wrong? i used GCMUtility for iso to shrunk it, ill double check see if i did something wrong

But will it be released? BTW, SADX has double input, you can't jump.

SA DX has that annoying thing for all the buttons, they double press themselves.
Hasn't been fixed yet. Tried it this morning with r2.148, same result.

Do not shrink the iso, try with a clean 1:1 dump for better compatibility.

I might want to try Dios Mios for Burnout 2 to double check to see if it is the ISO.
