Anyone able to get GC cheats to work? I put the gct file in specified game folder, enabled cheats and cheat path. But cheats don't work... What can I do about this and what is the correct cheat path?
Hey Skeet, please refer to the first post. It has a great section on how to use cheats, you can also use the search bar, and put the word cheats or something slightly more specific, and it will show you a few answers that have been posted on the thread. Thanks.

I read first section but still dont get how to do it. I have the sneek folder at root of usb and game gct in specific game folder with said game... Not sure how to do it...

Yes you can, I already use mine on Burnout games, F1 CC, V-Rally 3 and Dakar. It plugs on the gamecube controller socket and the pedals plug on the wheel and i'm good to go. Only "issue" is that the pedals default to gamecube L/R buttons, so I make sure to assign brake and gas to those buttons from each game's default options. FYI, I even got FBA games (outrun) or PSX & N64 racing games to work with the wheel :)
Thanks for the reply hopefully i will find a Wheel one day that doesn't cost thousands of dollars.

full example for cheatcodes:

/sneek/kenobiwii.bin
/games/GZLE01/game.iso
/games/GZLE01/GZLE01.gct
Then in nintendont, enable Cheat code setting.

OR

/sneek/kenobiwii.bin
/games/Zelda wind Waker/game.iso
/games/GZLE01/GZLE01.gct
Then in nintendont, enable Cheat code setting.

OR

/sneek/kenobiwii.bin
/games/Zelda wind waker [GZLE01]/game.iso
SD:/txtcodes/GZLE01.txt <---- downloaded by the USBLoader
SD:/codes/GZLE01.gct <---- generated by the USBLoader
- When using USBLoaders, you can put cheatcodes in any folders, as long as your USBLoader see it and send it to nintendont.
- In your Loader, download the cheat list, it will be saved as GameID.txt in the loader's defined folder for .txt files.
- Then select the codes you want to enable and generate the gct file, it will be saved as GameID.gct in the loader's defined folder for .gct files.
- Then enable Ocarina setting in your loader and launch the game.

In all 3 cases:
The sneek folder and the games folder need to be on the same partition.
If your games are on USB, put /sneek/ on USB too.

USBLoaderGX automatically copy Kenobiwii.bin and the gct to the game's partition if they are on another partition. (if you put controller.ini, cheat path and kenobi files on SD while games are on USB, it will copy files to USB)
I don't know what other loaders are doing.

Do I need to enable Ocarina AND Cheats? Or just Cheats and Cheat path?

still would like a new way to pause lol, kind of like the reset button combo, like maybe (X or Y + Start), would be neat for the triforce games.

Is your USB formatted as FAT or FAT32 and are you sure the "games" folder is in the root? the games must be in their own folder inside that one and named as game.iso (for example /games/Twilight Princess/game.iso)

Also, make sure you have the usb connected in the bottom port.
yes to all and its fat32

I enabled "Cheats" and "Cheat Path"... Do I need "Cheat Path" enabled also? Another thing, when I selected USB in Nintendont, it seems to freeze, but the USB light is blinking... What can I do about both?

Baten Kaitos does not work for me. When I turn memory card emulation off it runs fine, but when I turn it on, the game will freeze at "Licensed by Nintendo" which is the very first thing it displays upon launching the game.

This is nothing new for me, it has been the case for me ever since I started using Nintendont. I'm using v1.140 now, and I deleted the nincfg.bin file after updating to v1.140 as usual, and I'm launching it straight from the homebrew channel as usual, and I still get the same result. However, today I looked at the compatibility list and it reports that memory card emulation worked fine with Baten Kaitos as of v1.128 of Nintendont. The only issue was text not being shown properly. And I'm wondering, what's going on here? Am I the only one running into these memory card emulation issues? Or does the game just work in v1.128 but not in v1.140?

Just curious as to what's going on with Baten Kaitos.

Hey guys I need some help; no matter what game I boot up the noise is always a bunch of crackling sounds. I've been playing games with the audio off, and I was wondering if there is any way to fix this

Sounds like your using v1.00 where only zelda WW, Double Dash, and Sunshine have sound

use the most recent version of Nintendont

I just changed that actually, but thanks. I must have overlooked using the most updated version

Hi, I had the same problem as you and silver it simply with a new ISO file. My old one must have been damaged some how.
The PAL version is functioning with minor audio problems but very playable.
Hope it works for you!

Is the game folder named as its GameID? if not, create a folder like that or rename the game folder that way and put the gct file there, also named GameID.gct ; then enable Cheats, but NOT Cheat Path. That's only if you're using a loader to set a different folder for the cheat files.

Your usb might be badly formatted or something similar, where does it freeze?

I'm not sure how possible that is, but surely posting several times about it won't make it happen anytime soon... There are other things with higher priority atm.

yeah, I'm not sure what's going on there. I had it running with 1.131, I believe, but then it corrupted my save. I think after I deleted my memory card file from my HDD is when it started just freezing at that point, regardless of the version I was running (I rolled back to see if I could find one that was stable but didn't corrupt saves). Maybe the freezing is related to not having a memory card .raw for the game or something?

I'm playing Baiten Kaitos PAL and had audioproblems, and it crashed after an hour or so with r131,
so I updated to r140 and the audio works perfect but now the game freezes after 15-20 min of gameplay.
Onyone solved this along the road!?
Also I must say that this forum is Awesome with fast replies and helpful people!!
Thanks! // 4nders

I had the same problem as you before, It worked with anorher Iso eith no mem problems at all..
Tried anyone else!? I think i had the ntsc version with the problems but PAL worked better.
The game have some soundissues on 131 and on 140 that works but the freezes after 15-2 min gameplay.
Hope you get it to work!

The thing is that I had the game working before. So something happened that cause the game to work and then not work on the same revision. So this is beyond just getting the game playable for me, but it indicates something for the devs to possibly look into.
