Was this a recent fix? The last time I checked it wasn't working for the latest revision.

Nope, it always worked fine for me, here is my controller.ini just in case:

[Dual Shock]
VID=054C
PID=0268
Polltype=0
DPAD=0
Power=2,01
A=3,80
B=3,40
X=3,20
Y=3,10
Z=3,08
L=3,01
R=3,02
S=2,08
Left=2,80
Down=2,40
Right=2,20
Up=2,10
StickX=6
StickY=7
CStickX=8
CStickY=9
LAnalog=12
RAnalog=13

Edit, it is the same posted a few messages back... weird, it actually works perfectly for me.

Does anybody know if Nintendont will work with any hard drive? or will it not work with newer HDs with 4kib sectors just like Dios Mios?

Thanks !!!

Works on any drive as long as it's formatted fat32. if it freezes at checking fs then reformat it with different cluster size until it works

So.... only a few PAL games can be true 480p? that's not very good for me, I play PAL games because it have Spanish, but the NTSC it only have English (most games), but, the games stills looking good for me in 480i, the Wii U upscale the resolution so it should see 1080i.

I didn't say that. I'm not able to have 480p with some games that are said to work fine (both in Nintendont, Dios Mios and Swiss GC compatibility list). I can be a bad setting somewhere, a regression in Nintendont code, extreme bad luck from me !

I'll continue testing

thats strange... I cant run and shoot for some reason in Sunshine :/ i wonder what the problem is...

Fixed or not i could never figure out how to make that tech demo show up in the loader.
That's because the iso hasn't got a proper Gamecube header. Replace the first 0x30 Bytes in the iso with the following:

Code:
47 47 47 45 30 31 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 c2 33 9f 3d
4e 44 44 45 4d 4f 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
The first 6 Numbers 47 47 47 45 30 31 gives the iso the ID GGGE01. You can change it if you want.

007 Agent Under Fire NTSC-U says it works in the compatability list but after the second mission i get a black screen, Also Medal of Honor European Assault NTSC-U says its working on the compatability list and again i get a black screen. Are these games playable for anyone or is the list wrong?

Did anyone already converted a save from DM to Nintendon't, i used nmm2gci to convert my wind waker pal save and it gives me a .gci, what do i need to do with it?

Edit: I'm done with this crap, i've just deleted all Nintendont files on both my USB and SD Card!
- can't convert my DM save
- pal game not in 480p
- too many crash
- PS3 controller is lame for gamecube and does'nt vibrates

I'm just gonna go buy a gamecube controller and play with Dios Mios, this crap made me loose enough time:nayps3:

- i guess your not doing it right as im sure its possible
- maybe your not using the right cable/settings
- its a project in the making........... what do you expect???
- nobody cares about VIBRATING lol and how is using a different controller lame???
and that kwl go stick with dios mios and then tell me that its good on a wii u !! lol

not strickly true. or so i would guess because a low level 4k external hard drive cannot have its kluster size changed. so if anybody else with knowledge from experience could answer that would be great

that is an issue i experienced on agent under fire not sure if it has been fixed in the latest rev but that was an issue some revs ago, european assault is a picky game for instance it took me 4 trys for it to start on the wii on 127 he just either works or not.

why do ppl want real MC support? it brings nothing if a game doesnt same in mcemu it wont save in real MC either since its the same codding going in, real mc support doesnt add anything at all why would you not like to have your saves separated on the same drive you have your games for the case of corruption in the first place? if you all want to use your original gamecube saves theres is an app to just get those saves to the sd.
If you mean CCMM I use that and I made a back up for all my saves but it's such a hassle to convert every single save to work in Nintendont, I have way too many GC games that I had since my old GC and I play those more than I play Wii games, personally I found the GC games more appealing, I'd hate to have to redo every one of these games, I may be in the minority here (or even the only one) but to me real memory card support is still a better choice for me, I'm not against bluetooth support if anything using a Wii U controller is a lot better than a PS3 controller only for the key names!

Nah, i have about 110+ GC games played via Nintendont and the process of save trasfer took me about an hour at most, ONE time only, using Dolphin MC manager and gtc homebrew ti dump a raw image of my MC.
Plus now i don't have a MC sticking out of the Wii :)

Btw, the controller discussion should really be in its own thread imho...

Anyways, i also finished Majora's Mask (tgc rip from the Collector edition, 60hz, code RELS01) and from start to finish no freezes whatsoever. Only missing 3 heart pieces and one bottle for 100% completion.

Two small issues to report: That damn Beaver race has the timer run out before even the race is finished (2 rings left when timer hits 0. Is this because of 60Hz? I breezed through that race in the PAL VC wad, here time runs out, odd). Also in the ending credits, Lulu's song is not heard when the second half of the credits play.

already is a thread for controller help here

people just like to post on the main thread because this thread usually gets very fast response.

Hello everybody and thanks once again for the great work on Nintendon't. Had a lot of fun with it already, but today I encountered a minor issue and I wondered if there was a fix for that. So here it goes.

Playing Majora's Mask today, I noticed something strange. At first I thought the beavers were cheating, because even tho I made no mistakes during the race through the rings I kept losing with two rings left. But it's not the beaver's fault - somehow Nintendon't makes the race timer run at double speed...

Is there any known way to fix that? If not, could I help pinning down the problem if I provided some sort of log? For now, here is some info regarding my setup:

- Nintendon't 1.27 started via WiiFlow on a normal Wii (I know there is a newer version - will update to the newest one asap and see if the problem persists)
- Majora's Mask via Zelda Collector's Edition (PAL version, full ISO)
- Played using a GameCube Controller (WaveBird)
- Nintendon't settings: MCEmu enabled and Language set to German

Other info:

- I have not yet tested other race-like timers in the game
- The clock for the 3-day-cycle seems to run at normal speed

Thanks in advance.

I'd really just recommend using an emulator like Wii64 or Project 64 since emulating is all the Collectors edition does. (also the reason why it doesn't run that well)
It might be fixed eventually though.
