Trying to setup Nintendont for the first time. Im using a 4GB USB Stick, because my HDD is setup with 3 partitions {WBFS, FAT32, NTFS}, which works fine for Wiiflow, and all my other emulators, however it seems like Nintendont requires the FAT32 must be the first/primary partition [I hope this will someday be remedied] (correct me if I'm wrong).
So I got a game to load, Zelda Wind Waker, the only game I have on the Stick, due to space restrictions. The game intro played through, while waiting for me to press start. .. So now it was time to configure a controller. Having a Sixaxis nearby I chose that option, downloaded the configuration and renamed to proper required name. However now when I launch the game it either detects the controller (lights stop blinking, and a single light goes solid), and then the Wii shuts off, or it hestates on Detecting HID Input.
I had been launching Nintendont from the Home Brew Channel, and never saw any other warnings, but due to the time it took to boot HBC and then Nintendont, I decided to set my Priiloader to launch Nintendont on boot. Doing it this way I began to receive a message "This version of IOS58 is not supported." Researching some forums, I had seen IOS58 rev 6176, is recommended (is this still true?) and that is the same version I have installed, verified with SysCheck2.1.0b15, and it works for Wiiflow, HBC, and my other mods and emulators.
Thank you for any news, suggestions, hints, or updates you can bring to light for me!
