Why convert the gcm? You could have just renamed it.

because the GCM file wasnt found by nintendont or wiiflow (maybe because i had it in a sub-folder)?. and i never new you could just rename it. thats abit strange that crediar made a program to convert games if all i had to do is rename it?? and others were saying they had theirs converted to DISCEX. so i thought ide follow the crowed that say it works!!

You can request a fix if it worked in earlier revisions. Just don't request a game that never worked

hhmm no dice. i just renamed metroid prime.GCM (obviously left it as a gcm file) and nintendont doesnt show it

Rename the .gcm file to .iso file and see if that works. (Metroid Prime.iso, not .gcm)
Remember the game should be located in the USB:/games/ folder, it doesn't matter what name it has as long as the file extension is correct.

Emmm...

Batman Begins
21px-Flag_of_USA.png
1.52 Usbr4 v3 1.28 GB ✔ It doesnt work since versions from sd and usb got mixed together So it blackscreens after choosing progressive ever since usb r4 where it played perfectly.

usb1:games/metroid prime/metroid.iso wiiflow finds it but not nintendont and the same with usb1:games/metroid.iso (on a plus side Taz Wanted and bloody roar is working on latest rev 66)

usb1:games/metroid prime/metroid.iso wiiflow finds it but not nintendont and the same with usb1:games/metroid.iso

If you use the first path use the following: USB:/games/Metroid Prime/game.iso
When you put an iso inside a folder, the name of the iso should always be "game.iso", the only path in which you could rename the iso is if the game is located inside the "games" folder, only in there, if you add another folder you have to call it "game.iso"

If that doesn't work, then your iso might be corrupted or bad. Try another one.

thanks for your replys. im still outa luck. i tried USB:/games/Metroid Prime/game.iso but still nintendont cant see it. i did wonder about having some broken iso's but then all of them are loading okay with dios mios (i no its nothing alike this app but it emplys my iso are okay) or so i think

Mmmm that's odd.
For me, Nintendon't ONLY detects my games if I have them like this:
USB://games/Super Smash Bros. Melee/game.iso

Wiiflow DOES detect the games if they are just put in the games folder, but Ninten-don't (pun intended)
So you might want to try again that and open only the Nintendon't app to verify that.
Also, try 2 different isos just to be sure.

ill try to load just the nintendont app and see if it finds it. if not ill have to be patient and find another copy to test.
also with all my other games they have are like this usb:games/Amazing Island [GKAE8P] but then with metroid their is no gameID. im guessin this wouldnt cause an issue?

in nintendont itself no but on wiiflow and such it might, just boot nintendont directly trough homebrew

Metroid Prime's ID is GM8E01.
Although, if the iso doesn't show the ID then that is the issue. You will need another iso.

Try changing it to game.iso.
Sorry i should have been clear, gcm = iso, so what joostin said should be enough.
Maybe you should check if windows hides extensions of files that are known..

right cheers again guys. the problem was when i saved the game as an iso i also named it game.iso (so when i opened it with properties it said game.iso.iso) so cheers ive solved that part but the game still crashes. ill try another copy when i find one i can only be led to guess my iso's arnt all full downloads
