well technically hes quoting his error :ha:

and not like its hard , totally understood it with english as main language, especially after reading the prior posts

ppl editing the compat list please do not edit it when a game stops working, it makes no sence, for instance someone went ahead and edited legend of zelda 4 swords saying it crashes at the end on the level on 1.52, now how will devs know the rev it was working correctly to know how to make it work again? never edit to the lastest rev where the game broke or else the devs dont have a reference to see when it was working and what coding has broken it...

When that happens just add a note saying it stopped working on rev 1.xx+ dont replace the rev it was working correctly like now, no dev knows what rev broke it , good job there editing that.

Do you have
font_ansi.bin or ipl.bin on your games device root? If you do you should track down the version that broke it so it can get fixed.

Yes, I have tried both and same thing. NFS UG 1 / UG 2: boot just fine.

I agree, there needs to me more consistency, if a game is no longer working, post the information here, editing the game on the Wiki like that would create more confusion. So on here, people should mention the version, what game, the issue, etc.

I've just checked the History in the compatibility list (it's one of the first links at the top) and apparently the change was from 1.51 to 1.52 but I might need to see if there was an earlier change to it, as apparently it was edited multiple times just for that game.

I think the wiki pages need a few changes. Take a look at the Dolphin Emu wiki page of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest. Nintendont needs to have something similar.
This way, the developers can keep track of what revision works and which one broke a certain game.

That would involve having a single page for each game though, and maybe you can't overuse gbatemp's wiki space for a single project. I think the way it is now, showing a general list with all the games and the revs where it worked is good enough; as long as people don't delete the revisions in which a game used to work, to keep as reference in case it gets broken at some point. As pedro702 said, it's better to add a note saying "Stopped working in rev x.xx" instead and keep it clean and organized.

Maybe just add a Last Working revision column so like.

Game Name - Region - Version - LW Version - DSP - ETC ETC
Mario Kart DD - USA - 1.45 - 1.44 - v5 - Boots to black screen and freezes

This way we can see "Oh it worked on 1.44 but on 1.45 it crashes at boot"

Just a thought guys!!

I think he's referring to the PAL version having the mistake. The NTSC/US version works fine, for me at least, even with 1.52. :s
And yeah, I changed Four Swords US a bunch last night, because I forgot a bunch of stuff. :/

The changes i was talking about are in the EUR version, if you check the history you'll see there are a bunch of changes in the L section, the oldest one of those changed rev 1.51 to 1.52 in Four swords adventure PAL, and one of the later ones added that it would crash after the first level.

Right, that's what I was talking about. In any case, it looks like Nintendont runs about half of my games currently. Not bad. :)

This is a more realistic solution.

besides the ps3 controller, with which controller the rumble can work ?

the gamecube controller + Mayflash_3_in_1_Magic_Joy_Box.ini the rumble can work ?

It's spanish. PAL=European. Europe=Spanish.

Said post is in Spanish, however neither PAL nor Europe equals to Spanish, as PAL versions usually are multilanguage with French, Spanish, English, Italian, Deutsch... There are many languages spoken in Europe
