and awwww man i thought this was for usb loading too. i hope it does have usb in the end :o

There will be either two versions, one with usb-support and one with sd-support, or it will be only one version, which supports both.

Okay I have 2 questions regarding this after keeping up.

1. I've heard people were talking about the beta, does it only play zelda still? or it can play load up any game now, assuming theres no bug or compatibility issues for those said games.

2. when the full version and usb version comes out, I'm thinking of hacking the vwii in my wii U so i can use it. of course now i know i need to buy an adapter my gamecube controller. Do you guys know any good one that works and have 4 ports?

Would WiiU Pro support be possible? It does have a usb cable.
The problem is that unlike the PS3 controller, the USB cable is mostly for charging and no actual button data is transferred through the thing so, unfortunately, that won't work.

So I need a ps3 controller to play this on my wiiu. weak.
You can use a PS2 remote as well, better yet u can use a GC controller with a good USB adapter & to top it off with an even 'mo betta u could use said adapter with a WaveBird remote and receiver for wireless play on Wii U

I just wanted to thank the developer for all his hard work. Devolution works well, but it is missing a lot of features. I plan on eventually getting a Wii U and it would be nice to be able to play my gamecube backups without any hassle and maybe with support of things such as savestates, cheats, and whatnot, especially if this new project is rendering things like textures and wireframes in full 1080p the way that emulators do.

If this project gets a full, working release, it will be a testament to the absolute selflessness of the developer. Hopefully he might consider opening it up for others to continue once he moves onto other things.

I have windwaker original copy so I will give it a try thank you. I looked all through the posts yesterday for a download lol
