Info- R: Racing Evolution works great!

nintendont r85
Usb hdd 2TB ore sd8gb
with save game and Ps3 usb controller

It's Pal version that im tested

Nintendont was Deleted from google D: due copyrights D: what now?

Read through the posts again, it's being hosted on another site, the DSP code was apparently borrowed from Devolution, but it will be rewritten, please read what JoostinOnline has said. No need to freak out, I already did that before I was corrected lol0

The AP that Devolution includes has nothing to do with this. If the code was really his, he can and has every right to say so, even though discussing it with the devs would have been better instead of making a claim to take down the project.

And I haven't tested the newer revisions so I don't know if there's no sound at all or just garbage at times or something, it will be that way until they find a different approach to fix it.

I'm just glad the project is being continued and the audio part being reworked as we speak :D They've done some crazy awesome achievements and continue to do so, pretty awesome stuff :P

Does Skies of Arcadia have a delay sound as it ocurred in DIOS MIOS?
Not sure actually, and for some reason I've never tried it with Dios Mios either. I certainly didn't notice a delay - was just chuffed it worked in the first place!

...

...Does anyone remember the post crediar made about devo near the beginning of this topic, and how some people thought they could adapt it for nintendont and its DSP issues at the time - is that why tueidj has suddenly got his knickers in a twist?

That would certainly explain a lot, I don't remember what page/when he said that though. Nevertheless, I'm relieved there's a solution to resolving the sound so that both parties are satisfied instead of having you-know-who get his knickers in a twist ;)

Mmm, I remember when he first released Devolution and basically encouraged people to try and crack the AP on it - rather ironic really!

Can you try with a previous version like 1218mod06? there should be a link around.. maybe doing a search for it in this thread... here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/3gga2hg6wf97u7a/USBLoaderGX_r1218_mod06.7z

It was working for me last time I tried (I usually run Nintendon't from the HBC though.

I tried it and it still doesn't work. But it behaves a little different.
When using cIOS 249 for USB Loader GX, it starts Nintendont and then wants me to select between SD and USB - shouldn't it know that already since I selected the game in the USB Loader GX? Whatever, as soon as I press A to select SD, I get the StackDump.
When using IOS 58 for USB Loader GX, it starts Nintendont and again wants me to select between SD and USB - but this time it doesn't crash to a StackDump, instead it just freezes completely.

However, the latest r1219 ALWAYS gets me the StackDump no matter if IOS 58 or cIOS 249 but I don't have to choose between SD and USB.

All tests are done using nintendont r85 and a SD card (which, btw, works absolutely fast and fine for any other matter, such as DIOS MIOS Lite).

This is weird.

EDIT: my cIOS 249 is "d2x v10beta52 base56"

Well, anyways, it's water under the bridge and nothing can be done about it now, really. Time to dust ourselves off and move on. :P

You can't? I've seen posts (for dolphin emu, though) where they explained how to config the ps3 controller to use the analog shoulders. One of the examples was Sunshine to shoot water while moving if you "soft-pressed" the shoulder button. Maybe you should check your controller.ini?

In regards to this, with the ps3 controller.ini, I can use the soft-press function for the vacuum in Luigi's Mansion NTSC but not in Super Mario Sunshine to shoot water while moving. This was using r85

Not sure what the issue might be with the Stack Dump, I'll try later and let you know. If you want to go straight to the game from the loader when you pick it, you have to change the Loader Settings to enable Autoboot for Nintendon't

That's true, the same happens to me as well... I never managed to shoot water while moving by "soft-pressing" the shoulder button. Tried everything and I eventually gave up as it doesn't affect the gameplay that much...

Haven't checked in in a while on this project. Has native bluetooth controller support (ie wiimote w/ attatchments) been added yet?

You're welcome! ;)
I also mapped Power to the "Home" button, it makes more sense this way than hitting "Select" to go back to HBC.

I just bought my PS3 Generic Controller and an extension USB cable to connect my HDD from the front port for 24 bucks :)
I will test and give an update as soon as I get home!

So i'm assuming DSP Patches were removed in r87?

all exept 0, 1, 5, 10, and 11 or something close to what we had back in -r39

If the devs want to start with dsp then start with 2, 3, and 4. That's what most games are.
