But doesn't Nintendo Wii U Pro not have pressure sensitive triggers?
If you are referring to L/R analog triggers Nintendont has a built in half press by pressing the ZL button (opposite where the Z button is on the Gamecube controller) in combination with the regular L/R button.

Relative newbie here and in need of help. I have my Gamecube Games set up as Injects on the Wii U. My question is about controllers. My question is whether Nintendont will read the buttons on the Hori Battle Pad (https://www.ign.com/articles/2015/04/17/hori-battle-pad-for-wii-u-review) or original Game Cube controllers as they were originally designed (b is b; a is a; etc.). If not, is there a way to change that? If so, how?

You can rotate the buttons by pressing the "Minus" button on the Wii Remote or Wii U Pro Controller.
So that will map some of the buttons correctly for the Hori too and the Wii U Pro Controller? Is there no fix for original Gamecube controller? Thanks in advance.

The official Nintendo Wii U Gamecube controller adapter is difficult or impossible to get in my locale.

The aftermarket "Mayflash" brand 4-port adapter seems to be popular, but can anyone confirm it works with Nintendont on Wii U?

Also are there any issues, such as:

- Lacking analogue support for trigger buttons
- Incorrect analogue sensitivity mapping
- Input lag

Thanks

The Mayflash should work as long as the switch is set correctly. Everything else is fine. All USB GameCube adapters have a slight lag that is only noticeable when playing Smash Brothers.

The original Gamecube controller is mapped correctly to begin with.

So it sounds like the Gamecube controller the buttons match automatically. Good to know. Does the Wavebird controller work how I have it set with Gamecube injects? Are the buttons mapped and read like the wired gamecube controller?

A little disappointed to hear that about the Hori since I assume that means they’re not matching even by pressing the minus button on the Wii remote

Im playing metriod Prime 2 on dolphin, but when i switch to nintendont on wiiu, the codes found on gamehacking.org are action replay, and when converted the infinite ammo doesnt work. so i activate debugger mode on dolphin and see that the ammo address is static, and i do a direct write for it.
Code:
[inf ammo (light ammo) direct write]
0471ACD8 000000FA

[inf ammo (powerbomb, missile, light, and dark) pointer based]
48010000 003ca740
de000000 80008100
58010000 00001314
de000000 80008100
14000260 00000009
1400026c 000000fa
14000278 000000fa
14000284 000000fa
e0000000 00000000
and yet the direct write doesnt work on nintendont.
and the pointer based code (again on nintendont) only work when it wrapped around a key button code.

why cant i use a direct write code on nintendont?
and before anyone asks, im on nintendont v6.490 (wii u), built Nov 14 2020 16:08:28

Why do I get the get the feeling, No one.is helping, just a simple question
on page 1:
Code:
place your generated .gct file to one of the paths checked by Nintendont.
It can be located in the same folder than your "game.iso" file, or in a subfolder named after the GameID6 of the game.

/games/Your current game path/game.gct
/games/Your current game path/GameID6.gct
/games/GameID6/GameID6.gct
/codes/GameID6.gct

Example:
/games/Zelda windwaker/game.gct
or
/codes/GZLP01.gct

Don't forget to enable the cheat option in Nintendont settings and launch the game.
it looks several folders will work....

Sorry for my noob question, but in the system requirements on page 1 it says we need the official unpatched IOS58. Where can I find more information about this? I'm using Wii U system version 5.5.2.
