Can someone else verify any issues with Turok. From what I can tell, the discspeed changes in rev 316 broke the game. For me it hangs at the loading screen right before the title screen. Worked fine up to and including rev 315 using a proper ntsc dump on a regular wii with gc ports. Ive also heard the pal version has cutscene issues as of 316(though i havent tested this myself). Thanks

Is awesome how this project has evolved since it was created, first we could only play Zelda the wind waker but after Crediar made Nintendont open source Fix94, Howard and more people have been helping a lot. Its awesome that Developers (Fix94) only need to fix 2 games but is kind of sad that after that we will not get the same number of updates as before. I just want to say thanks to everyone who have been working on Nintendont making cahes, tutorials, themes, updates, asking noob questions and helping out with the compatibility list. GAMECUBE ROCKS!!!!!

I am having the same problem as the other user, the button combinations are not working, I am using a Silver wireless GC controller with native controllers option on.

Which game and button combination? If you're talking about the reset and exit combinations they don't work in native controller mode.

Have you read the OP?? And I quote:
• My settings are not working when using the "Native Control" setting:
The Native Control setting lets Nintendont use Native Gamepad Controller access instead of emulating it, allowing the use of all existing official controllers, but disables emulated hardware and some features.
See below the list of affected features if you enable Native Control:

Enabled
- GBA-link
- Keyboard
- Mouse
- Steering Wheel
- Wavebird

Disabled
- HID-USB Gamepads
- Bluetooth Gamepads
- Button combo to reset/return to Loader

I always assumed that Native was a must if I wanted to use the GC controller, the one time I had it off it defaulted to the wii mote asking for the classic controller.

Anybody? It seems like a definite issue from my testing, I'd just like to get at least 2-3 other people to confirm/deny having the same issue. (preferably with the ntsc version) Thanks again

Last night I was playing melee with my classic controller and dropped my wii mote. I picked it up, paused the game and went to get some food. When I came back, my control configs had changed to match the positioning of a gamecube controller. I really enjoy this style of control better. I honestly dont know how I did it though, I spent almost an hour today trying but combinations get it to how it was yesterday. Do you know if this is a button combination or a glitch of some sort. Any help would be much appreciated.

I think all the helpers here should just start saying the same thing to people.

Thank you so much. It was killing. Just a side question(last one I promise). I was using the ps3 controller and for some reason the A button is square and I really hate that. Is there any way on the controller to change that or do I have to download a seperate control.ini

This is seriously going to get old quick.

Opening post has the answer

You need to edit your controller.ini to your custom button config

I'm pretty sure no one answers because no one has the game. The changes from 315 to 316 weren that big, so maybe you can narrow it down be reverting some changes. I'm sure f you ask nicely, FIX94 will take a look at it.

To all: This is a good example that shown that we should constantly test. There are a lot games which werent tested since version 1 or early version 2. We should test those games and update the compatibility list. Only because every game has worked on some revision doesn't mean it works on the latest.

Google Code shutting down
http://google-opensource.blogspot.ie/2015/03/farewell-to-google-code.html

Earlier today, Google announced we will be turning down Google Code Project Hosting. The service started in 2006 with the goal of providing a scalable and reliable way of hosting open source projects. Since that time, millions of people have contributed to open source projects hosted on the site.

But a lot has changed since 2006. In the past nine years, many other options for hosting open source projects have popped up, along with vibrant communities of developers. It’s time to recognize that Google Code’s mission to provide open source projects a home has been accomplished by others, such as GitHub and Bitbucket.

We will be shutting down Google Code over the coming months. Starting today, the site will no longer accept new projects, but will remain functionally unchanged until August 2015. After that, project data will be read-only. Early next year, the site will shut down, but project data will be available for download in an archive format.

As the owner of the following projects, you have several options for migrating your data.

...

The simplest option would be to use the Google Code Exporter, a new tool that will allow you to export your projects directly to GitHub. Alternatively, we have documentation on how to migrate to other services — GitHub, Bitbucket, and SourceForge — manually.

For more information, please see the Google Open Source blog or contact [email protected].

yeah turok is broken either freezes when loading to the main menu or freezes when loading the mission on 323 seems every loading screen is very easy to get a crash

i went down alot and the last time i could get ingame was 305 but even there the games seems to struglle to get pass the loading screens like its about to crash and can crash.

I can confirm that.
TUROK isn't working (it freezes on the loading screen. The one with the tomahawk spinning)
Also, BATMAN BEGINS displays some graphical glitches after the update. Nothing game breaking (AFAICT at least). The letters on the start menu (NEW GAME, LOAD GAME, BONUS etc) look kinda "boxed in" (like a black outline around the letters) whats even weirder is that only the first part of the sentence seems to show these glitches (like for instance only NEW in NEW GAME is boxed)
I can confirm this wasn't the case yesterday, not sure about TUROK though...

============================================================

On a different note (but relative to glitches etc) could somebody confirm or deny if the pause menu in Resident Evil 2 and 3 is glitchy? (Like weird coloring of the shapes appearing behind the text) I don't have my Gamecube nor my discs with me ATM so it would be kinda difficult to verify that by myself.

Also, does anybody notice something "off" with the way things look with NINTENDONT on WiiU? Or is it just me? By that I mean graphics look like painted over a mesh. like tiny squares all over the screen. Is it just me? Could it be the WiiU upscaling the GC games? Am I just crazy? They're not OBVIOUS but you can see them if you look for them...
And last but not least: Does anybody know how to BATCH verify GC games against the REDUMP *.dat file? (besides cleanrip) like on a PC? I know I could use clrmamepro to do that but it's a real PITA to have to rename games for it to be able to detect them.
If there isn't, maybe someone much more knowledgeable than I am could try to wip something like WiiBackUpmanager but for GCN. With the ability to compare against the database.
Cheers guys!
And devs: Your work will long outlive you. Be proud guys :grog:

The Wiiu upscales, of course.
What it doesn't do is UPRES the image.
The upscaling is either done on the source (be it DVD/BD player, console whatever) or display (maybe an HDMI converter if using an analog source) but it HAS to be done somewhere.
How could it output 1080p if it wasn't for the upscaling?
