Hacking Nintendont with pro controller only

I don't really have space to put my wii u gamepad or wii remote in a convenient place in my room, I also don't want to have to manage their battery when all I'll need to use those for would be to load nintendont.

I have the nintendont forwarder installed on my wii u menu but it insists that I use either the gamepad or a wii remote. Is there any way around this so I can control everything with my pro controller? If not on nintendont is there an alternative method/app that I can use to play gamecube games on wii u?

As far as the Wii U Menu is concerned, Nintendont isn't compatible with the Pro Controller, because no Wii VC games are.
