The best format to play Gamecube games with Nintendon't is .ciso, according to this website: https://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/Save_Disk_Space_for_ISOs

I used DMToolbox with format set to Optimised, which removes all the unused space from the ISO for my games and keeps them in .iso format, then I found this website and got curious if I should keep my games in .iso or convert them all to .ciso. Comparing the two formats using Luigi's Mansion as an example, the size difference is about 4mb, so other than that, which format should I be using?

Hello.:)

Personel I use only clean 1:1 ISO´s as in the NINTENDONT Thread suggested:

The recommended format is a CLEAN ISO dump. It has the best compatibility and faster reading speed.
Do not compress or extract your games, don't use DiscEx, don't use GCReEx, don't use DMToolbox.

Thank you.:)
