Gaming Nintendo wii to a old tv

um ive got a SONY old tv which was bought between 1992-1995 and it only have one port (coaxial cable post).and there is a cover in the front of the TV and there is a knob that can rotate between 2 values
1 is "PAL "
and the other one is "AUTO"
im going to buy a NTSC wii US
.so how do i connect the wii to this TV what gadgets do i need .and will it have colors because of the knob thingy.and how to connect to the coax cable.
guys please help.oh and im not planing on spending on expensive items.please helpz

You need to get a converter to go from the composite (yellow video and red and white audio) to the coax cable. Should be found for under $15 anywhere they sell tvs. I have seen many at resale shops like Good Will.

Set the knob to "Auto"; it will automatically change video modes to match the console's output, in this case NTSC.

But yeah, get the Coax-->Composite adapter mentioned above.

so does that means my tv is ntsc compatible?so then my screen wont be in black/white right
um im new to these tech thingys.can you give me a link to a composite cable that you mensioned ,so that i can recognize the one i need to buy(um by composite cable do you mean the wire that comes with the wii in the box?)
if so can you give me a link to a converter pls

Go to any electronics or large general store and ask for an RF modulator. There not hard to find.

While there *are* different types of RF modulators, almost all of them will convert RCA (composite) to coaxial connections. Some just also have other inputs such as s-video. But there isn't a specific "type" of RF adaptor that you want to look for. Even an old VCR will work to bridge the gap.

There really is only one type. Hook the cables you have from the Wii to it then it to the tv. Also hook you're tv feed to it if desired. Change tv to channel 3. Play Wii.
