With the extended battery pack, the Wii-U gamepad is extremely heavy, more than have a kilo. Using it feels almost like having a workout but is not comfortable at all, I really hate it for that reason and never use it. And it also takes so much space away, this thing is the worst design decision ever. No wonder the Wii-U failed miserably and I also see this problem for Switch, if you put early Zelda adopters aside the system will only be successful with a smaller version, which will very likely be announced soon as a 3DS successor.

Switch and 3DS XL have many of the same use cases already, which is why I bought Switch to replace my 3DS XL. Neither one is comfortable to carry around in your pocket, you'll be using a case with either device. If people wanted a larger screen just for the 240p of 3DS, they surely wouldn't want Switch's 720p screen to be smaller.

i want a switch that actually is not a switch. they should put the hardware into a small case and give a pro controller instead of the joycons. the price would also be lower, something around 150-200€

Nintendo has done revisions to their home consoles... The nes, snes and even the wii had revisions (not sure about the gcn) so it's a matter of time for them to announce the super nintendo virtual switch enterteiment system dsi xl micro U advance wii sp 64 gamecube & knuckles to screw over the beta testers early adopters.

Have you ever thought of dialing back your artificial gravity settings?

i don't think i'd want a bigger screen (as the switch is not 3ds size).
its screen is larger than my 6p , which is already a fantastic size.

but oh well , i surely would have wished it to be a 7" with a QHD Display !

NES/SNES were already covered, Wii revisions didn't add power or functionality (they took them _away_).

It doesn't matter if it gets a revision that's just more convenient (such as a size change), or lower price, or with a pack-in game (literally every PlayStation has had one, as well as the 360 and Xbone).
The point is something specifically akin to the New 3DS (not 2DS), PS4 Pro (not Slim), or (presumably) Scorpio (not One S).

There is still a probability... the 3ds has no reason to get a new revision, almost to no one used the new specs other than the snes vc, xenoblade and a small amount of 3dsware titles... but hey, they still released that revision. So, it's highly likely they will do the same with the switch, even more now that it's already underpowered and the battery life sucks.

i think the xl is just plugging it into a tv and buying a pro controller
nintendo has never done a revision of a home console at least not one with positive notable changes i wouldn't hold my breath

LOL...I like the straight shot, brutal but very accurate.
