Hacking Question Nintendo Switch wont boot in OFW after Update

Hello guys,

I´m a pretty noob regarding the switch. So i recieved a already cfw modded switch and updated if via. ChoDujourNX to 8.0.1 and selected the option to delete all apps since i dont need most of the stuff that was installed on there.

My problem now is, that when i try to boot the switch without a CFW it just stays black when i try to power it on. With the Atmosphere CFW i can get it to load.

I sadly did not make an backup because i am an idiot and did not think about it.
Do you have any solutions for my problem ?

in het menu van sx opties kiezen dan naar autorcm en deze uitschakelen dan kan jij weer hierna in de normale FW starten. hoop voor dat het lukt

what yannick was saying (i think) that the person that originally had the switch enabled autorcm try to boot using fusee-primary payload, you can download the payload in the atmosphere github

EDIT: forgot to mention if you want to disable autorcm get CTCaer's Hekate payload if you run macos or linux use fusee-launcher (it requires phyton)
if you use windows use tegrarcmgui when you push the hekate payload go to tools archive archive bit autorcm disable autorcm hope i was helpful

I got it to boot now with the Standard Rom using the Hetake Bootloader, but when just pressing the Powerbutton without the RCMLoader inserted the switch just stays black and does nothing. Did I mess something up there or is it just a bug ?

Short question for a dummie. What exactly does autocrm before i disable it ?

autorcm modifies the system so that the system panics and throws it into rcm (recovery mode) you cant boot into ofw without a payload

it is easily fixable just disable it and you will boot into horizon everytime your system is booted up, remember you have a ban risk if the console isnt banned already.

i already mentioned how to disable it above

OT: I do not have wifi setup since i also have a ban risk when booted into cfw and having wifi enabled right ? Or can i just enable wifi and only disable it for gaming ?

if the original owner went into nintendos servers before (in cfw) then it will probably get banned but if you are lucky it wont [for now ]

use 90dns it will allow you to use homebrew with wifi if you want games buy only game cartridges or pirate (i dont support it! devs work hard for it)

if you want to see if you are banned connect to the internet and go into eshop if it says "the use of online services is currently restricted by Nintendo" then you are banned.
