Same, I even closed splatoon and switched users. Didn't change anything
pretty useless update. all it was released for to block hax basically
as every nintendo's updates
In other words, First Adopters priviledge...just like PSP. O well, Now I don't know if sell it or keep it.
I might just update too. As cool as an exploit is and as much as I love exploiting consoles, I do need my Switch to be able to use the latest games and access online. I don't care about piracy and my Vita covers my emulation needs perfectly.
We'll see if anything appears in the short term.
Im so paranoid that I actually turned off the internet on my switch instead of blocking updates lol
doesnt make much sence for to be called 5.0.0 since nothing chnage tehy could have called it 4.2.0 srs.
Is it confirmed by @SciresM that the hack was fixed?
Thank goodness for this stability improvement as my niece's switch was very difficult to hold with all the instability.
Dat update !
WiFi connection deleted, I got the games I wanted from the E-shop so am happy to wait and see what happens over the course of this year.
Oh well, minimum requirements for the upcoming games would be 5.xx I guess.
I think that means "child"?
How exactly can I remove the update notofication? Restarting does not work... I must be forgeting something?
So basically this just serves to annoy homebrew users by walling off their upcoming announced titles behind an update. Same old, same old.
OK, so is there any difference exploitability wise between 4.1.0 and 5.0.0?
Are we doomed if we were to update to 5.0.0 for cfw and homebrew?
You must enter the "maintenance mode" (turn off switch, hold vol+ and vol- while turning on) and then from there power off.
err, slight edit to the news story. Both the ios and android version notes mentioned it.
Has all I was expecting. Not everything I wanted but I'll wait another year before I go nuts over lack if cloud saves
