Actually, this Metroid Prime 4 talk has me thinking what Nintendo will do with a late-Switch release. Like, "special scenario unlocks for Switch 2 users." "Better performance on the Switch 2" "Special visual details only present with a Switch 2." Those sorts of things.
Personally, I think Nintendo's going to copy-paste their efforts from the original Switch onto the Switch 2. They need to maintain that consumer confidence and only sit on a few franchises at a time. I'm hoping they don't get Microsoft Comfortable and start slowing up on quality software, but for now, I foresee them putting effort into maintaining their momentum.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I see them doing generational iterations of the usual suspects: New Mario, New Zelda, Mario Party #+1, Mario Kart #+1, and Smash Bros. SYNONYM FOR FIGHT.
