Nearing the end of 2018, Nintendo of Russia's General Manager, Yasha Haddaji, faced problems regarding workplace conduct when multiple allegations were made against him. This all began with an official livestream, where Haddaji was heard loudly berating his employees, using foul language, and saying he would fire everyone in the room. After this incident, some of the workers involved began to come forward and make statements about how the General Manager was mismanaging his branch, with a fan's video going viral with a petition to have him removed. As a result, Nintendo of Europe stepped in and claimed that they would be investigating the claims made. As of today, NOE has made an official statement on the matter, and is as follows:

Nintendo initiated a thorough investigation into each of the allegations made against the General Manager of Nintendo Russia, Mr Yasha Haddaji, in November. "While the results of the investigation acknowledge that Mr Haddaji's loss of temper on display in the video has at times also been observed in the office, none of the allegations of harassment brought forth in the wake of the video were substantiated by the investigation.

"Mr Haddaji fully acknowledges that his conduct related to him losing his temper is a breach of our Code of Conduct, and expresses his remorse to all those affected by it. He has received a formal warning and has issued an apology letter to all Nintendo Russia employees.

"Our top priority is to ensure a safe and supportive working environment for all employees. It's because of these values that we committed to a full and thorough investigation into each of the allegations against Mr Haddaji. Going forward, Nintendo of Europe will be providing more resources to Nintendo Russia to support their efforts to bring Nintendo products and experiences to Russian players.

"We want to ensure that the conduct of all our employees is in line with Nintendo's company values, and we remain committed to upholding these standards in the future."

According to Nintendo's investigation, they could not confirm the negative remarks made against Haddaji, leading to only a warning being issued. More workers will also be brought on board to help things run more smoothly, in the future.

While far from cool behaviour, and likely terribly ineffective to boot, I don't see it as amazingly outrageous either. Probably worthy of some kind of sanction but I won't be joining a pitchforks and baying for blood set any time soon.

It's refreshing to see a company do actual research and not instantly firing someone due to a bunch of cancerous SJWs.

I’m pretty sure he would be fired by now if they had a suitable replacement for him. A manager should not behave like that.
That's what you're human for, everybody makes mistakes and loses their cool sometimes especially under high pressure. They told him to knock it off or else and that's good enough for me.
If everyone were to get fired for each missstep this world would go to shit pretty fast.

So a large corporation like Nintendo has no care for its employees.

He should have been sacked.

But saying that look at the working conditions of those that produce Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, Apple, Samsung products.

Proof that as long as the top dogs are making money, those on the bottom are given no rights or respect.
"sacked" that sounds like something you would say to someone that got kicked in the nuts "YOU JUST GOT SACKED!" :rofl2:

I'd bet my next paycheck that this wasn't the first time. Just the first time it was publicly aired. All too often in certain business environments there's people like this. It's not a mistake, either. You don't mistakenly threaten your employees and their jobs over something so menial. It's poor judgment to create the excuse of "he's only human" in this instance. I'd also bet the employees were too afraid to come forward prior for the chance of this very outcome. (Essentially nothing effective being done.)

There's a good chance he only played nice during the investigation. Who wouldn't when you're being viewed under a microscope?

Man I sure wish he could target that guy making every news "source" maxconsole instead. That would at least be useful.

This seems like my old job. Good ol threaten everyone because shit is not going the way they want it to go. This seems like a slap on the wrist tbh.

Everyone loses their cool sometimes. You should not be judged harshly and in a way that kinda ruins your life and hurts your family and children just for simply losing your cool.
Seems this man got lucky given how men are being targeted repeatedly and unfairly in modern times.
Im a super nice dude but i have lost it before and went into a blacked out rage... It's called testosterone.

You are solely responsible for how you handle your stress. In a professional environment, you should be punished for being unable to control it. Especially when it's being live streamed. He could have, and SHOULD have walked away.
