Nintendo Japanese Press Conference Round-up

- DSi - new DS with camera, SD card support, bigger screens and downloadable games
- Wii being able to store games on the SD card, starting Spring 2009

Wii games announced:
- Punch Out Wii
- Trace Memory
- Samurai Warriors 3
- Sin and Punishment 2
- Let's Tap (from Prope studios.. no idea)
- A Tales Of series "mothership title"
- Endless Ocean 2: Beautiful Ocean
- Taiko no Tatsujin

DS games:
- Mario & Luigi 3
- 3D Picross
- Warioware Touched! 2

The videos at Nintendo site show some more games I couldn't identify, check them.. Punch Out looks fantastic cell shaded

- Nintendo will be re-releasing Game Cube classics on the Wii under the banner "Games You Can Play on Wii Selection". Pikmin and DK Jungle Beat confirmed for this.

Another press conference is going on in the US today.. hope it will bring as many good news as the japanese one

Trying not to get my hopes up, but I think NoA's event will have titles like Fire Emblem DS, Captain Rainbow?, GTA Chinatown, DSi announcement etc. Hoping for something new though.

Honestly, that Picross 3D I saw on the video looked fantabulous.

Too bad the 3D engine of the DSi wasn't revamped. Sometimes, bigger screens ain't enough.
Wonder when it'll get released at other places other than Japan.

Wow, that is what I expected to see on the E3 showfloor. Way to go Nintendo. Some great games announced....

I`m most excited for Trace Memory and Sin&Punishment2 (come on SEGA... I would be satisfied with an Orta-port

Yeah just a revision, every game should still work on Phat/Lite.

Well ok maybe not the DSiWare or whatever they call it, I'm sure hackers will be able to do something for those without DSi, unless Nintendo release some hardware for old DS owners but then that would take away my only reason to get a DSi.

New games that are coming to DS will be great....I wonder how much will this DS redesign, actually expand life of a DS...

And 3D Picross looks so great....but it'll probably be a hard game...
And let's hope that they don't mess up Mario & Luigi 3..

And they finally decided to go with the Gamecube Classic idea that they played around with ages ago starting with Pikmin.

Re-releasing GCN games for Wii?
So will they work with the wii-remote + nunchuck?

Because there are several GCN games I would kill for with wii controls, plus the GCN's controller cable is retardedly short- doesn't even reach my couch
