so do u guys think Nintendo has given up on the wii there wasnt a software update for skyward sword wasnt there, thats kindof sad no new features and not even piracy blocking updates now just the 3DS is being focused on

I would assume they gave up on trying to protect the wii and are now focusing on the 3DS and making the Wii U hard to hack.

This is stupid. Of course they haven't given up on piracy. They've just given up on making the wii unhackable. And not just now, but at least since letterbomb made even the 4.3 hackable without needing any game whatsoever.

If it is even possible, it would cost much more than they would gain. Assuming there is any gain to begin with (it's not like people who are pirating will suddenly all buy ALL the games they now download).

They gave up on piracy long ago. There's no point fighting it, any effort would be completely futile and pointless.

yeah i think this should be closed so we can avoid flame wars and crap. once the wii was hacked it went almost downhill but not quite down the hill yet.
