Lovely jubbly aha.
Interested in a few of the Jap releases too. World Destruction, Pokemon Platinum, Dragon Ball DS, Blue Dragon Plus and Knights In The Nightmare should all be A-listers, so I may check them out for interest's sake.
Oh, and I'm struggling to work out whether Knights In The Nightmare is a spiritual successor or direct sequel (or prequel, whatever) to Yggdra Union.

Awesome, especially seeing as September's an (almost) equally great month for the PC and Wii.
Don't forget we get Wario Land: Shake It!, Samba de Amigo Wii, and Harvest moon: Tree of Tranquility for the Wii too. Man, I really haven't got enough money...

EDIT: Oh, and IGN lists Broken Sword DS for September. Does the game even exist?

YAY! I'll finally know why Viva Pinata got love from reviewers and players alike! Spore is rather interesting, also, everyone's waiting for The Fore Unleashed, thank you for the awesome thread Gay/Hadrian!

And Sam & Max: Season 1, de Blob (said the be the best 3rd party game), SimCity Creator plus whatever comes on WiiWare like Mega Man 9 & Tetris Party.

I am considering doing a Wii thread, I've got the first two weeks already covered but damn the dates keep on changing so I might just leave it to the weekly threads.

Thank you for the month release, it looks like I will be busy

I hope Rhapsody will have an option to choose between English or Japanese song (like on PSX).
And I also hope the game will have good selling, so maybe we could have next nipon-ichi games in English.
On PSX, Raphsody sold poorly (American didn't love Japanese song ?), and they never bother to translate the other games. I loved it, they were really funny.

Thanks for the thread and hard work Hadrian/Gaydrian. So many oldish game's getting remade that I've vaguely heard of, so no nostalgic feelings here. Seeing how F'ing awesome Dark Knight was. I'm hoping Lego Batman will be fun despite its most likely low skill level. I bet the developer's were like "Let's put a smile on those consumers face's" with a wildish gleam in their eyes.

I'm hoping the Joker has the "pencil trick" for a special move.

Great month.

Disgaea will be the one I'm looking for - that game looks freaking amazing and I hope it delivers like FFXII RW did.

Pokemon Platinum, albeit Japanese version, is Pokemanz, so I'll be playing that as a preview to see how Game Freak did with the 3rd and last installment of the 4th gen.

RF2: HM looks nice, although I'm not really a fan, I'll look into it.

Nice work and it seemed u felt more "funny" this time
Wonderful games coming to the DS, with these dates... i will just have finished my regional exams and this overload will be beautiful (though i still haven't even finished PW:TT 3 , my favorite series)
Tornado,Spore (nice comment on ppl lol),Viva pinata (very interesting) , super speed machines (something different) , Lock's quest (it's been long since a game of this sort has been released , mystery case files (looks very much like prof. layton) , zero g (very very beautiful) , dragon quest (obviously a nice game) , Star wars (interestingly, the gba last release is one of my favs) , Simcity creator (let's see if it can beat civ rev and anno) , Disgaea (popular and deserves to be) , Batman (finally but still not expecting too much) , sonic (marvelous as usual) , pipe mania (ah! ye old days) , Spectrobes (might just try it this time) , Rune factory 2 (hardly played 1 at all) look very interesting

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Booo.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.
  • Veho @ Veho:
There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
