Wow! I am definetely getting me a silver one.
i dont know what everyone had against the silver dsphat, i stll think its the best color available.
this should be available in europe by the time i get there so i can pick one up almost immidiatly

Thanks, I've been wanting to see some pictures of the new colors since they've been released in Japan. Not bad, though I prefer the non-metallic-ish colors. Still happy with my Polar White DS Lite

Metallic Rose looks ugly. I don't know if it's the camera or what but it's just too bland and looks kind of matte-y.

i think instead of these new (kinda ugly) colors, they have to fix the hinge problem of the mostly used Polar White. phew.

I'm not too keen on the new colors, but now I would like to see a metallic blue.

Test84: They have fixed the hinge problems on the white DSL, unless u get a DSL from an old old batch they now use a different type of plastic. It now feels normal to push the screen back all 180 degrees or w/e ppl were saying the problem was before. Where before it felt a little bit forced.

got mine 3months ago from US and its cracked.
maybe they fixed it but still have other problems that makes me scared to return it, i'm scared of getting a worse one.
did u see that guy's topic about searching for a perfect DSLite?

my first DSL was faulty but when they send back a refurb, the refurb usually under goes stricter testing than the original... both of my refurbs have been in perfect condition (my first refurb still had the crappy plastic for the hinge, making me return it once the hinge cracked)

Just keep returning it, you'll eventually get one that's perfect enough for you. My third one I received from Nintendo is now perfect , so far.

Im still waiting for nintendo to start releasing stupidly overpriced addons for the DSl that we have to buy because they look so cool

I just got my son a silver DS lite for his b-day, and one of the advantages of this one, is it doesn't show finger prints as much as my black one or my daughter's enamel blue. My wife's white one is pretty good at not showing finger prints too.

Rose one doesn't look as good as I thought it would in those pictures, but the lighting's a bit dark and metallic things don't photograph well anyway.
