Well I tryed three combination of DS Browser....

1. DS Browser Original + RAM Expansion
2. UnPached DS Browser on DS-X + RAM Expansion
3. Pached DS Browser + M3 Mini SD

1 & 2 works same
3 is almost unusuable, ...5 times slower than combinations 1 & 2

It has already been confirmed to work with both Supercards and Supercard Lites.
Though in a few days I'll be getting my DS-X, and I shall see if it's more slower.
Could anyone send in a video of how fast it takes to load gbatemp.net with the proper cart?

Just tried using dslink and supercard lite.
gbatemp main page with images on took 40 seconds to totally load.
cnn.com with images on 2min. 10 sec.
gbatemp with images off under 20 sec.

This browser isn't worth the effort, and it doesn't even work properly. I'd wait till one of the free browers made from the ground up is finished, also there would be flash plus all the important things you need in a broswer.

It doesn't work properly? what's wrong with it?

I'm not sure what kind of flash support you're expecting, or why you think there will be any support at all, but it's very unlikely our sad DS hardware will be able to run any kind of modern Flash animations.. maybe you mean Flash < v4 or something, I'm not sure.

I think the DS Browser runs fairly well considering the poor hardware it has to run on, I'm guessing most of you bashers haven't done any graphical web browsing on similarly powered cellphones, pdas, etc.

This browser isn't worth the effort, and it doesn't even work properly. I'd wait till one of the free browers made from the ground up is finished, also there would be flash plus all the important things you need in a broswer.

I disagree. I run the hacked browser on the DS-Link with a Supercard, and it runs great. Just as fast as any other handheld browser I have used (ie: Blazer on Palm, IE on Axim), but the browser is feature wise much better than both of these.

Even works with Acekard + m3 lite or supercard that i tested

yea its quite slow and isnt worth it for everyday web browsing.

i do have to say its REALLY nice to surf wap sites like wap.ebay.com bigger screen then most cell phones so it is great.

else i think its not worth it and beside most of us own computers nowdays use the thing to surf for everyday porn purposes i mean edumakation needs.

okay, so this is definitely a noob question. but like, i looked through the entire thread, and i dont see anyne with the same problem, so i must ask: why won't bspatch run. im using the one straight from the dl provided fromt eh first post. it opens and almost immediately dissappears. fairly new comp, do i need to download something to run executable files?
