@trumpet-205 not quite true, that patch linked does work although tends to only work on the EZ4 lite deluxe- nobody retroported it to the original and lite models.

Frankly though homebrew browsers have long surpassed the official browser in quality and features.
http://costello.dev-fr.org/ if you have a nearby PC.
http://code.google.com/p/quirkysoft/ if you are running around outside.
DS linux (should work on the EZ4 if your cart has issues)
Flank this with a few choice programs (email, maps- not sure if these work anymore, RSS, various platforms- I reported on a twitter client once) and you will be laughing.

Any homebrew that wants to play with expansion packs should work with the EZ4 as well- the DS browser being a rom means this was a hack rather than a minor recompile.

@trumpet-205
Doesn't it have extra 16 RAM?
Or do you mean other memory?

@FAST6191
DSHobro isn't that what I want use.
DS Linux browser isn't that good.
Nintendo DS Browser seems to be the best.

I noticed other issue (?). After patching the ROM it has ~2MB less than before. Should it be so?
So isn't there any way to make it work on EZ Flash IV?
Like repairing the patch/porting the patch to not deluxe version?

I don't want make new topic, so I'll write next problem here.
Black screen after doing soft-reset.
What I have done:
1) Full format with Panasonic Formatter
2) Deleted all partitions with GParted and made a new one
3) Tried to change settings
Still the same after all. Am I missing something?

The loss of 2 megs is just a side effect of rebuilding the rom. Such things have been known to cause issues with other cards and certain roms.

I am not sure if the binary changed size but if you want to try then you can always grab the arm9 (and probably arm7, no idea about overlays) .bin files and inject them into the original rom using something like ndsts. I doubt it is that causing your issue though.

As for porting/fixing/adapting the hard work of getting the code that handles the browser memory has been done (it is where the patches sit now) and the other EZ4 ram code should be available in Lick's ram API. I still would not count it on it not being long and tedious though and most people seem happy enough to use one of the alternatives.

The original thread on the subject of the EZ4 http://ezflash.sosuke.com/viewtopic.php?f=...139&start=0 if you do fancy reading something about it all.

Ugh, I don't even fully understand what you have written, so I'll better leave it...
Too bad that there isn't any EZ Flash IV fully working patch.

Which homebrew browser is the best when looking at functionality (can open more sites, is working faster etc.)? Except DSHobro.
