Y’all gonna hate me for saying this but...Fortnite. There were multiple signs from multiple sources saying that Fortnite would come to the Switch, so, maybe? Hopefully. This would seem like the correct time to announce it.

Other than that, if not Fortnite, at least one big TP game, maybe a Paper Mario. Maybe a deal on some games. Real merch coming to My Nintendo sometime in the fall. Please. A lot more small indies as well. It’s not Direct Mini so it’s probably gonna be 30 - 45 minutes long.

I don't know why, but my expectations for Directs are really low.
The only announcement lately I'm interested in is Bayonetta 3.
Fuck Yoshi
Fuck Kirby
Fuck Labo
Fuck Smash
Fuck Pokémon
Fuck Mario Tennis

The 3DS is still alive. If Nintendo can make a profit from it, they're obviously gonna let it live.

But they shouldn't let it overshadow anything IMO. And please no Animal Crossing crap.

Was about to mention Labo then @the_randomizer beat me to it.

What I hope will be shown is either virtual console or mayhaps a WWHD port.

I'm sick of them not showing the VC, I couldn't give a flying damn about the Hamster SNK arcade ports.

hm hating almost everything nintendo does lol why even bother watching a direct or even owning a switch? xD

The announcement literally says "... tune in for news about switch and 3DS news...".

I know someone already told you so, just was pointing it out too.
well probably some info on detective pikachu imo, i dont see nintendo doing anymore AAA titles on 3ds with pokemon moving on and such imo.

Might and might not. Detective pikachu has been already covered and played by people or reviewers to show it to their audience, although it was just a demo of the first three chapters. Highly doubt they have more to show, since the game is already short and we know already what the amiibo does. They will probably just anounce more officiay translated games from japan and maybe one or two new stuff or apps.

i guess maybe afew translation games coming outside of japan, becuase i dont see them doing anymore mario, pokemon, metroid, yoshi, kirby, whatever games for 3ds, i think they just moved on with those, detective pikachu was released on japan some months ago so technicaly we are only getting a translation already xD.

Probably nothing about Pokemon Switch. If they realy want to release it this year, (i don't believe that it's possible, mind you) then promotional stuff will start as usual in mid-spring, idealy in the time when next movie will be aired in Japan Cinemas. There's also the fact that it would get entire Pokemon Direct, not just mention during standard Nintendo Direct.

Well, the thing with detective pikachu is that it was planned to be an episodic release, i mean, episodes would be being released in japan after the first two. Somehow the team behind it decided to have the game completed and released as a full new game to the world, so, even if it was already a known game from two years ago, we are actually getting a new game and not just a translation.
