We know the 3DS has hardware features that make it so that you can't do that because other systems have had those features for years now. In addition there are people working on hacking the 3DS that have confirmed you cannot simply dump an exploit in via a wireless/swapwhatever crash.

well it is not via wifi it is over the sd card i got the FOLDER with all swapnote on it. I just need a little help on opening and put code or whatever else and making it crash then trying to put 3dbrew on the 3ds .

You want to direct a team of coders.

You surmise, without having any programming experience, that it should be about 80% possible to derive an exploit for Swapnote within a reasonable timeframe.

I want to direct a team of scientists.

I surmise, without having any experience in microbiology, that it should be about 80% possible to derive an "exploit" for cancer (e.g. something to turn cancer against itself) within a reasonable timeframe.

serieusement? Veut tu m'aider a leur expliquer un peut jai dla misere a ecire anglais mais pas lire.
Les règles du forum stipulent que l'anglais est la seule langue autorisée sur GBATemp. Fais attention.

The forum rules state that English is the only language allowed on GBATemp. Beware. I'm providing this translation to be within the rules.

Why not? did the first human to fly with a plane did it on the first try? if i got help and it work what you will say ,stop trying to make me rage ....please all i ask is some little help .D:

Read the thread I linked. If you edit data on the DS or something, the 3DS will not even try to run it, which means it can't crash in the first place because of it.

Well it i dont edit data on the ds i want to run a message and why not try it?
I meant SD, as an example. If you send edited data to the 3DS, the 3DS will not run it because the signatures will not be valid.

The 3DS has been out for a while. If it was as easy as you thought somebody would have done it already.

My point is that you should get a good estimate from at least one person who knows what they're doing, first.

The plane was discovered accidentally by people who knew a thing or two about what they were doing, but did not expect the result, like a lot of scientific discoveries. Some kinds of glue were actually attempts to make other synthetic materials, but they ended up being very effective as glue. So the glue was invented "in an instant"... only if you forget the time taken to try to make the synthetic materials you really wanted.

When you are actively researching for the existence of something specific, you have to consider and eliminate a lot of causes, which takes a lot of time.

Additionally, unlike in the physical world, you cannot write a piece of code intending to do one thing and suddenly discover a new awesome algorithm that no one ever thought of before. Either:
* your code works for the thing for which it was made (in which case you are happy); -or-
* your code works half the time, which makes it useless, not useful for another thing (in which case it's time to chase software bugs!); -or-
* your code spectacularly fails (in which case you start over again).

My intent was not to make you angry. It was just to bring you back down to Earth from your dream cloud using an analogy.

well if he did it correctly. but when the team will be working at it we will inform all of us.

Hahaha i see you right in a certain way but why not try and make error that the way of inventing something.

Just a wild guess, but I don't think there's gonna be a team, those people are on other teams with realistic productivity.

well, if other are on a realistic prodctuvity then why we dont see a hack for the 3ds? leave me alone and il try and even if it dont work il dont be mad "il just say , yea that a good effort"

And as for you i see you post alot of reply to tell people that project would not work did you have ever try?

Donate to these guys -> http://3dbrew.org/wiki/Fundraiser

They've got hardware and have been trying for a year now.

I linked you to a thread that explains why. In addition there's an FAQ and other threads in this section that tell you what's been going on in terms of 3DS hacking.

So maybe you should read them.

...I haven't used french this extensively in 4 years. :D
