As long as it's fast and dosen't make pages look bare, I'm fine with whatever browser they use.
Flash is just a nice bonus

Rayder is another person...

The videos would have to be sent directly to the device, not through a web page viewing youtube. For this a custom app/whatever would need to be made, which is a possibility I mentioned before.
Like the Gotube on psp?
Yes, or like the youtube apps on android phones.

Would it be possible to use the SD card in the slot for caching larger files such as these videos while they are simultaneously being downloaded and played?
SD memory is much slower than RAM.

True, but does it need to be as fast? People playback music and videos off such devices all the time, but of course this requires writing also, which can also degrade the card sooner.

i know the real reason every1 wants flash on it

NetFront is pretty much the worst piece of shit browser i've ever used. I had it on my Samsung M8800 and i downloaded Opera Mini so i didn't have to use this shit.

3D POR... TAL! Flash as itself isn't that much an improvement although a lot of sites do use flash to get their pages to display certain things. HTML5 on the other hand would make improvements. But for the love of god make it fast. At least so that it doesn't take ages to load a single page..

Couldn't Nintendo use a better mobile version of opera?

Unless this may require lighter CPU work/ram usaged...however if Nintendo does retain all the features, that's great!

Video is bandwidth-intensive, it would be like shit since it's having to read and write at the same time, unlike simply playback.

In addition, when playing videos/music off SD card, generally it'll be loaded into RAM and played from there I believe. (Loading it from SD card takes less time than playing, so as it plays the first bit, it loads the next bit into RAM etc.)

Looks better than Opera on this phone:

Hopefully it is
I just want HTML 5 in it, with working videos. If they dont put that in, I want hackers to crack this thing ASAP. (well leave a couple of months/years for some good games to come out)

Nikkei, a major Japanese newspaper, has reported that Nintendo have dropped the Opera browser in favour of ACCESS’s NetFront. Never heard of ACCESS or NetFront before? It’s the browser behind over a billion non-PC electronic devices, including the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable.
Looks good. At least PSP and PS3 have youtube support. They probably will add this into the browser
