Nintendo 3DS firmware 11.13.0-45 out now, fixes StreetPass functions

Just when you think you've had enough, Nintendo comes back to give you more. Nintendo 3DS firmware version 11.13.0-45 is available now, and it actually deviates from the popular and fan-favorite "system stability" description!
The official changelog from Nintendo reads as follows:

Resolved an issue where StreetPass would not work in some cases.

Several titles have been updated with this new firmware, those being NVer, CVer, friends system-module, Web browser Data, and (to nobody's surprise, given the changelog), StreetPass system-module. There notably isn't an update for the NATIVE-FIRM.
What do you think? Are you disappointed that it isn't an update to system stability to enhance the user experience, or are you glad that Nintendo changed something this time?

I am currently sick with the flu and lack the energy to do a detail test on compatibility issues. I will just update to see if my 3DS still boots.
System boots and loads sig patches with Luma3DS.
