Sorry if this has been asked before, but is the 3DS going to create the illusion of depth, or will it be more of a "real 3D" and actually make it feel like you can touch the object?

Although you will not be able to touch the object in 3D, it does actually appear to float above the screen but by a limited distance but can also create the illusion of incredible depth too.

i think the realease dates for USA and EU would be by march 2011 also. Reggie said in all major markets by march 31 2011. EU US and JP are all major markets.

I've been thinking, you know... they say it's 800x240, 400x240 for each eye with 3D effects enabled, so if I turn off the 3D thingy, I'll get a pure 800x240?

I mean, they say there's a slider that controls how much the 3D effects is displayed, if I turn it off completely, there's no need to split 800x240 into two, right?

Anyone can shed light into this?

Stereoscope. Two cameras mean it can take 3D images.

actually, nintendo was talking about maybe returning the nintendo seal of approval after seeing the Shovelwares on the DS
