Q: When will a flashcard be made/when will it be hacked?
A:It hasn't been released yet, so no.

Not a yes or no question....might confuse some ppl.

And secondly....in the games list, my shovelware detector is already beeping like a drunken sailor on PBS....though most games look decent.

actually, nintendo was talking about maybe returning the nintendo seal of approval after seeing the Shovelwares on the DS
Returning? It still is here but pretty much EVERY GAME(First party haven't bought a wi third party game since agessss) has it.

A quick thing about the GPU. apparently Nintendo is using the 200mhz version of the Pica 200. The 100mhz is 40mil polygons while the 200mhz version is more than 2x that amount. That sounds a little more realistic because 40 mil untextured is pretty bad (imagine what would happen once shaders are applied). anyway this number sounds more realistic.

The confusion wasn't between a 100MHz model and a 200MHz model. It was the 200MHz and 400MHz ones. The 200MHz one was made in 2006, the 400MHz one in 2008. I checked and translated all of those articles. i found nothing.

under performance. its supposedly 200mhz instead of 100mhz. im not talking the max clock speed freq. anyway i remember seeing that bit of info somewhere in there. it also talks about how there will be a Shader SDK of somsort which can convert OpenGLES2.0+ shaders to the 3DS (since 3DS is fixed function + extensions and what not)

Updated. Anything I missed? How does everyone like the Not-Nearly Completed Nintendo 3DS FAQ?

You need to fix the guddamn formatting.
It's ugly as hell!
Follow Deltaburnt's FAQ formatting. That's an example of an eye-pleasing FAQ!
http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=146...t=0&start=0
Edit: Fix the prices. Japanese prices don't translate like that. We only know the JAP price.

There?

Sorry if this might be a stupid question, but when this faq sais The Nintendo 3DS will come packed with a charging stand, an AC adapter

does that mean i will still be able to play this with a cable on the 3ds, or will i have to put it back in the charging station every 4 hours and be forced to take a break?

I don't think so I heard the charging slot was the same as the DSi's so I think you can just plug in the charger to your 3ds if you want.

It's better.
There are too many other things in the FAQ. It's a FAQ. It shouldn't have an 'Extra' section. That's for other threads, not a FAQ. Specs and frequently asked questions are okay, though.

You should also add to the games list:

Capcom:
Mega Man Legends 3
Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D

Konami:
Love Plus

EA:
My Garden

Bandai Namco:
Tales of the Abyss

The Extra section is staying.

Ty I'll edit the FAQ later today.

I urge that you replace the current FAQ with the version I posted under the line.
The edited FAQ looks so much better. I can't handle looking at the current version of the FAQ. I'm OCD like that. I didn't erase anything. Just edited the grammar, corrected some mistakes and made the FAQ look more appealing.
