Would you please consider updating the original posting with the New 3DS (XL)?

No offense to owners of the original, I got one as well.

But compared to the old models, the new 3DS is a quantum leap in 3D usability, because of the eye tracking. It that good, an immense improvement. So anyone looking in Gbatemp for the best 3DS to get should know it is of course the New 3DS (XL), not the old one.

All versions are moddable via hardmod
All versions (including no version at all due to system corruption) are moddable via ntrboot
The current version is (likely - assuming your system is in full working condition) moddable for free via frogminer
