Amazingly, I was just about to write that same exact thing.

I can't wait for this. I must say though, the 25th sounds like a more realistic date than the 20th. Big games almost always ship on Tuesday in the US. And I never trust a Gamespot date anyway.

Not to sound too fanboyish, but a 3-point-fucking-5?!

Honestly, it seems like the prettier the DS game, the lower critics feel they must score it. I've been replaying the demo countless times, and I don't give a rat's ass if this game is only an hour long -- it's an incredible accomplishment on the DS. Taking crack shots at it is ridiculous, especially considering something Sessler said recently about hating how so many blogs these days seem to be purposefully down on good games just to attract readership.

I guess I can't really comment intelligently about the X-Play score (or any other score of the game, for that matter) until I've actually played Dragon Sword through for myself, but that score doesn't sound right. This game would have to have Tingle come out and spray the screen with a tit for it to get anything less than a perfect score from me.

It was a 3/5, so technically it was a 6 out of 10...

Yeah, I couldn't believe the 3/5 either.
They go and praise the game at the start so much, saying it's one of the best looking DS games
and that the control scheme is handy, then they screw you over at the end with a 3. A mediocre score. I mean, C'MON.
For the DS, this is such a success.

And it's not just Xplay, really. The whole G4 channel's going down. Half the time I tune into them, shows like Cops and Cheaters are being shown. Yeah, nice. :<
Btw, yeah, it is 6/10. That doesn't change anything ..

Update: Looks like the 25th is the right date, after all...for the U.S., anyway. The official Tecmo site has it listed for that date, and we'll likely not see the game on store shelves until the next day, at the very least. I believe the date Gamespot has -- the 20th -- is for the Japanese release of the game.
