Hey, when i play Ninja Gaiden DS on my R4DS on the 1.17 firmware my game would crash everytime i reach a certain point in the game. More preceisely, during the second chapter, at the area with the long stairs. After i reach the top of the stairs and enter the next screen my game would freeze.... i wonder if anyone else has a similar problem or have any solutions if possible?

Im having that same problem! It goes to the 2 black screens and the music glitches. I've tried everything and it's still not working! Any one have any incite?
Make sure you take off Soft Reset. Let me know if that works. I had a similar problem with my M3 Real. Most freezing problems are fixed when you take off Soft Reset

I have the exact same problem except it occurs in chapter six right after the boss speaks to you. I tried it with the soft reset off and no luck. I upgraded to the latest firmware (1.17) and still no luck.

Well, though I sympathize with those folks who are having issues playing the game on their cards, this game's definitely worth a purchase. So, if you can't get it to work on your card, I encourage anyone to buy the game. I plan on it here soon. It's a great game with a ton of love and attention put into it.

Aw, so Ninja Gaiden froze on R4? Thankfully I haven't downloaded the ROM
Wrong.

I'm using an R4 with firmware 1.17, a Kingston 2GB microSD card and a trimmed ROM with soft reset activated. I've played till chapter 9 with no freezes at all.

Same here. Just played through the whole game, no problems. Excellent game by the way. I love the ending boss.

Urr... no. Wouldn't it make more sense to buy games that don't get tons of money already?

Urr...no. Buy a game that the developer put time into, worked out the bugs, delivered what was promised, and generally made a great game. Doesn't matter how much it will make, if it deserves it, buy it. That way, top quality titles continue to be released.

QFT

Agreed. For me, it's my way of telling publishers what I want more of in the future. Simple as that.
